@@paulwilliams2814 Thanks for watching!! Enjoy the journey!
Thx for sharing
My pleasure
Thank you for sharing. Cheers from Scandinavia 🇩🇰🇸🇪🇳🇴
@@inpersonaDK Thanks for watching! Need any tips, let me know 🙌🙌🙏
Hi Rich, Thanks for sharing. I start on Sunday. How was the food? Thinking of taking a “tent meal” for each day? Not really a big fan of the processed/Bread diet. Thank You
@@StuartHolt-p7y the tent meals are amazing! We loved them. They pack small and are tasty! 🙌🙌
@@TrekkingTweed did you have them each day? I’m not sure how reliable/good the camp food is?
@@StuartHolt-p7y yes we used tent meals each day and then picked up food at the refuges. Like chips, crisps peanuts etc. we have a couple dietary restrictions that made the refuge food not an option for us. 😁
@@TrekkingTweed thank you. Not sure 7 days is an option as my pack is 14kg. Carrying tent etc. Thanks for your help. Hopefully I haven’t forgot anything!
@@StuartHolt-p7y you’ll be good over 9-10 days. Enjoy the journey and have an amazing time!! Let me know how you get on! 🙌🙌
What size is your
@@chingkheinganba5633 12litre. This is a medium.

How’s it going lads?!
@@TrekkingTweed good cheers mate. Just in Wales currently getting rained on 🙈 Hope you’re well!
@@ThemLadsOutdoors can’t beat a bit of Welsh rain!
Yes Rich! How many people did you see during?
@@tymcbride3477 Yes Ty!! This was mid June, so the route isn’t a busy as July and August. Areas had a lot of people and some areas you didn’t see anyone! We found some poor trail etiquette on some sections (scree and rocks flying at you from above etc). I wouldn’t want to see it in the busy season though! Definitely an island worth visiting for not only this route, I hear theres good cycling too 🚴 🙌🙏
Great hike. Thank you for sharing. Take care 👍
@@NorwayHikesTrails Cheers brother! 🙌🙌🙌
Great going. Thank you for sharing. Have a great upcoming week 😊
@@NorwayHikesTrails Thanks for watching!! You have a great week also! 🙌🙌
Great episode man, place looks and feels so soothing and enchanting! Love it
@@ervinslens cheers for watching man!! Such a beautiful island and route! Sent a sub over! 🙌🙌🙌
Hey there! Stupid question, but do you think it could work for multipitch climbing? I wonder wether it could hold some heavier gear (cams, nuts, QuickDraws) on the approach.
And one more question: how does it stow away? Are there any parts that don’t compress or make it bulky when being stowed in a multiday pack?
@@aaronpohl9817 Hey! It would stow away fine I’d think. I would have thought I’d would be ok in the approach, depending on how much you’re taking. But you could probably get a cheaper climbing approach bag rather than a running tbh! 🙌🙌
@@aaronpohl9817 bananafingers.co.uk/petzl-bug?gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAADxdz4ai7UzTpn_ez8A550xXU3nE-&gclid=CjwKCAjw74e1BhBnEiwAbqOAjCgTlzSsg_dSJcIZG1Z0j_Dy6RvsHIQMea5k4K-44dQmwAyJ7xpCwBoCL94QAvD_BwE
Something like that maybe?!
@@TrekkingTweed thanks a lot for your rapid response! I actually have a great pack for climbing and approach, perfect pack for easy mountaineering too (BD Speed 22). What bugs me about it is that it takes a lot of space in a bigger pack and that it is a little unstable when it is not filled to the brim. It’s a classic hip belt pack. I thought a running vest could be lighter and smaller in another pack on basecamp style approaches yet better performing on the climb itself.
Rich~Yeeah. how incredible upload!godspeed. ))
Thank you! Be sure to check out the full video for more incredible vistas! 🙌🙏
Have you grabbed some meat for dinner?🐗
Not dead yet 😂 bet that path was lovely after all that scrambling x

Nice!! Cheers buddy
Thanks for sharing. Going from North-South in about a week. How'd you get from Calvi to Calenzana?
@@Gjudxdkjyzddhjnr7091 Hello! Thanks for watching. We shared a taxi for approx €50. There’s a couple of Facebook groups that you can connect with other trekkers on.
@@Gjudxdkjyzddhjnr7091 we also hired a car at the end and drove up the coast back to Calvi. Breaking up the journey along the beach and towns rather than risking the bus and trains.
@@TrekkingTweed Was there anywhere to purchase gas canisters and a lighter?
@@Gjudxdkjyzddhjnr7091 There’s a shop (spar) in Calenzana I believe with canisters. Plenty of burners at the refuges too. We never took any.
Nice video Rich. Thank you for sharing 😊
@@NorwayHikesTrails Thanks! 🙏 I’ve sent a sub over! I’m looking forward to watching your videos! They look stunning! Can you recommend any hut to hut routes in Norway?!
Nice vid, looks good and all set for adventure!!
All set for adventure!! Just one last prep today!! 🙌🙌🙌
Nice load out 👍
Thanks 👍. I’ll let you know how it all went!!
I bought this pack (size large for 42 inch chest) at launch and found it too snug and about an inch or so too short, making it hard to get into the back/side pockets. I found that on max effort, the vest was restricting my inhale and that's with max slack on the adjuster. For reference I usually use Gecko 12 | Adv Skin 12 | Cross Season 15. Would love to know what you think now, 3 weeks on. Or anyone else with this vest.
Cheers for the comment! That’s interesting. I’ve had the chance to play with the pack more now. It’s a lot better than the ultra direction mountain pack. I’m sure it could fit slightly better, but I’d put that down to my body size. The pack does sit further back when weighted with a 2 litre bladder in there. Found the poles attachment ok and fitting the front pouches good for the phone and food. I was interested in the adv skin! How do you find that in comparison?
@@TrekkingTweed The Adv Skin 12 is a great vest. It's at the stretchy end of the vest spectrum and I like to load water, phone and gopro in the front of my vest and this makes it bounce - understandably. All the packs I have make my back hot in the summer and that's why I tried the Veil 12. I am trying persuade the sensible part of my brain to shell out £180 to buy the Salomon S/Lab Ultra 10, which has no bladder sleeve and seems more breathable at the back.
The pack is the wrong size. You need to go down in size.
Packs been fitting nicely after that initial first run. After some adjustments and filling the pack more. When trying on the pack the size down was much too small. Perhaps I’d need an in between small and medium. To fit exactly. Would love your thoughts
Neat pack tweedy 👌
Cheers Daz! I’m very much looking forward to adventuring it!
Great area and great video mate 👍
Cheers boys, thanks for commenting! I’ll head over to your channel and have a nosey about 😁🙌👍
@@TrekkingTweed no problem. And thanks mate. Not much on ours yet- still getting the hang of editing and not feeling awkward lol.
@@ThemLadsOutdoorsGreat work! It’s hard! I know how you feel! I just cringe watching myself back! Ive recently started using Davinci Resolve for editing this video. The rest of the channel has been in iMovie! 😂😂😂🤦🏻♂️.

I reckon this is my fave one yet! I could practically feel the fresh air in my lungs ! I can't believe it has been 2 years since your mum died ❤ just imagining her reaction if you decided to do naked hiking 😂😂
Cheers top fan Kirsty! Time flys doesn’t it! It wouldn’t be a good reaction would it?! Haha
Literally feels like you are on the edge of the world at certain points- amazing views! X
Haha! Absolutely! Edge of the world cousin! 🙌🙌🙌
Such beautiful views! The ice cream at the end seemed very well deserved after all the running! Keep it up brother 🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️
Hello!! The ice cream was definitely needed! It was an amazing day out! Cheers for watching brother 🙌🙌🙌🙌
What a trip brother! That run on the sand doesn’t feel easy. Amazing. 💪🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Kkk warrior man 💪🏼 I’m better now after seeing the videos. Inspiring. I’ll walk to Fatima’s Sanctuary soon, in a personal pilgrimage. I let you now 🙏🏼
Awesome scenery! Missing steps going down takes some coordination I am sure, don't think I could do it with gamboling the rest of the way down 😂
It would be worth the fall down there tbh!! The GoPro makes it look worse than it was. They were close together! Cheers for watching!!
Great video there Tweed! Looks amazing ❤
Cheers brother!! Thanks for watching! When we heading back out there?!
It does look beautiful! Don't know if old bambi legs would make it round.... 😂

Looks like a magical fairy land at 6mins... how crazy that you have all these different terrains in one run! Another great video.... can't wait to watch the aussie ones 😊
Hey Kirsty! This video was a longer run, just under 30km. So plenty of up and down and opportunities for fun! The next video is great, more stunning views, less of me talking. It’s more of a meditation run video, if you a thing exists?
Great video, mate! Always nice to get out and head uphill for a view
