I've a 2007 GS450H with 103000 Kilometers about 63k miles , Mark Levinson system is superb, Car is ultra reliable... Thank you for the video going to see how much all these bits will cost me on amazon...Any point changing the Spark Plugs? I doubt CVT Gearbox oil was ever changed in mine I got a quote of 500 Euros from a specialist to change it...The Dr Prius App and an OBD reader is showing my Hybrid Battery is still at 70% health not bad for a 17 Year Old Car...Any point in changing spark plugs? Only Job I've to do on it is one of the front headlights goes out every once in a while so I bought a couple of original ballasts "Denso is the make" off eBay its a big job to change... Front Bumper has to come off to get at the headlights will change both whenever I get it done.

The weather and the architecture make me suspect that was shot in Sweden.

Thanks for the video I’ve had my 2006 Lexus gs 450h for the last month or so and this is not only my first hybrid car it is also my first Lexus. I drive a lot on the motorway and I get on average 35 miles to the gallon which I feel is brilliant for such a large engine.

It may be more polite to drive in EV mode in the city to avoid polluting the air there and causing engine noise but in the case of any self-charging hybrid the usefulness of extending driving in EV mode from the point of view of fuel economy is questionable. The system will eventually charge the battery anyway. The computer is very good at maximizing efficiency and battery lifespan by charging it and releasing the energy by driving the electric motors as needed.

I think the torque listed for the GS 450h is for the petrol engine only. Lexus does not give an official combined torque output, but I believe it is around 500Nm.

5:03 Adaptive cruise control was available. The President trim level offered it, at least with the V8 model (GS460). I would say most GS models have more tech than most 5-series' or E-class', as it came standard with keyless start and entry, touch screen infotainment, folding mirrors, ventilated and power operated seats. Most Mercedes or BMWs from 2011 dont have any of that.

After 2 years, have you had any other problems since then?

I miss the gs400 and gs300 in the 2nd gen.. It was a really sharp design, classy, but both power plants were amazing.. this is pretty terrible.. lol

I own a 2013 Lexus RX450h with 148K miles and the battery display still goes to full green bars once or twice during a drive, but it mostly hovers around 7 out of 8 bars. If I sit in a drive-through with the lights on, radio and AC on while waiting for my food, it slowly drops to about 1/2 way over a 15 minute period; but once I get on the road going home it usually climbs back up to 7 out of 8 bars in a mile or two. I'm getting around 23mpg in the city in the summer and 28mpg on the highway in warm weather. Cold weather drops my MPG by roughly 3mpg. I also noticed that switching to Sport mode and driving aggressively makes the battery charge quicker and I see full green bars more often than in ECO mode. After watching a bunch of videos of other Toyota/Lexus hybrids with battery levels staying around 50%, I can assume my battery is still in good health.

GS450h is very nice car with very good performance. This car can be driven with good fuel economy, but is worth saving fuel on car like that.

I noticed you haven't changed the pligs yet. These are expensive and as you have to pull off lots of parts to get to them it costs a lot for the labour.
