Can you strap climbing sticks to the bottom of this pack?

Gosh I want one of the 5400s so bad. I am running a Gregory mountaineering pack (from 04) that I used to climb with all over the state of Colorado. I have hauled two front quarters of an elk in my Gregory pack in one trip, it’s a beast of a pack. But I’m afraid to downsize from a 7600cubic inch pack, but the Climax 5400 is the first pack to catch my eye in the last 10years.

Good design but heavier than advertised. Would be nice if you could just buy the bits you want. And the rifle holder has to hold the rifle too high for my liking to keep tension on the connection. But that's just a preference. I do like the quality.

Are there any discount codes available for this pack?

These are some good packs guys. I’ve packed out several elk with the smaller version and let me tell you the meat shelf alone if worth it. I’ve compared it side by side with exogear and AKEK takes the cake. Good job!

I've had the 5400 in ranger green for a couple months now, been great so far but have only carried about 40lbs in it so far backpacking.

Just came across these packs, very interesting design. Do you have a water bottle pouch for the hip pouch?

Just received mine today. FYI mine had black strap webbing versus the Ranger green color shown on the website and this video. Seems like it’ll be a great pack. Excited to load it up and try it out on some hikes before the season starts

I bought this pack! I got the camo version and absolutely love it. My first real hunting pack. I didn’t know about the bottom straps but now I do and love the pack even more. Thank you for making a great product!

At approximately 2:11 to 2:50 in the video, as you discuss using the 5400 pack without the top lid, it is clear that the extendable portion of the pack, that component which is commonly called a "spindrift collar" in alpinist packs, has a simple drawstring (pursing) closure. Yet, when I specifically inquired--I did so before viewing this video--of your company's customer service department if the pack featured a "roll-up, dry-bag-type" closure, they affirmed that it did. Has the bag been redesigned in the time elapsed since your video was posted to UA-cam?

Hello Brandon. I like most of what I've seen of your product so far. I especially like that it appears you are selling a fairly complete system for a price that is quite competitive with your competition's products, notably the Exo Mtn Gear K4 among them, whose packs plus accessories quickly escalate in price. I do feel that American made products are worth a premium however, so I am looking closely at the Pros and Cons columns. Encouraged by your reply to Ryan Granger, I submit the following: I have lived on Washington's Olympic Peninsula for most of my life. I am assisting a couple Midwestern residents with their plans and preparation for an early-archery-season hunt for Roosevelt Elk that will mostly be conducted in our old-growth forests here. I've noticed that your pack fabric coloration appears quite variable across a few of the online videos featuring your products. The color of the pack in this video, which I assume is "Ranger Green," seems reasonably subdued, but it has appeared glaringly light in others. I think the "AKEK Camo" as it appears on your company's website as one of several options for the Alpha 3200 pack is a much better fit for our local conditions. An Akek customer service person has indicated that Climax 5400 pack should be available in "AKEK Camo" by the end of 2024. I'd like to ask: do you think the camouflage version of the Climax pack could possibly be expedited for delivery by the first week of September if we were to order a couple Alpha 3200 complete packs in AKEK Camo, plus pre-order and pay for two Climax 5400 "bag only" for delivery as soon as possible? Moreover, is there a way to communicate with you personally with suggestions for improving your packs, website and videos? I won't elaborate on this public forum, but I can provide qualifications and examples in private communications.

Maybe a good idea to show how the pack separates from the frame and the inside of the pack. How the suspension adjusts.

6:05 why the jump cut to a different frame? My climax 5400 doesn't have the buckles you used to attach the lid to the frame. It matches the other frame you were just showing with the green straps.

How does it hold tripods and spotting scopes??

I like the idea of the adjustment on the belt. But that looks difficult!!! Especially the waist belt falling out as soon as you pulled the lumber pad the second time. You may also consider some close up shots of these operations as well for clarity.

Just got mine. Was able to use it for a few days on a mule deer hunt. Rifle holder worked great. I'll have to mess with it just a bit still to keep it from swinging, but still worked well. Overall comfortable pack with high quality materials.

Though adjustable. A larger belt is needed. There is a reason high end pack companies offer 3-4 belt sizes.
