What happen to the navigation button from mk3 that looked like this [....] and why would they leave it out ? That was one of the main reasons i loved it, being able to scroll through sounds on my keyboard besides mouse or keyboard smh.

Bitcooker ends up on all my koala drums. I *think* the scatter has some kind of delay element vs koalas stutter which seems more like just an audio looper, I could be wrong

Thanks! Good to know about converting Melody to Midi. The reason it doesn't sound like the trumpets are changing at all when you reduce velocity is that they're not. In SWAM, the 'volume' of a note is controlled by Expression. Not Velocity.

Got my P6 a couple weeks ago and I use it for the sample rate capabilities and effects. I color and add texture to my samples and drums then sample the P6 output into my other machines (MPC etc). Then I finish my beats there.

I'm thinking about picking up the 49 key version before the end of the year. I'm just a beginner, really, even though I've toyed with my Yamaha dgx500 for what? Twenty years now. But I've been looking to get back into it more seriously, for scoring my own projects. I like the physical faders and having four octaves (or split the key bed into two instruments) to mess with, which is why I'm leaning toward the 49. I'd been thinking about an Arturia Keylab Essentials MK3 for a long time. The keys feel a lot better to me than any Novation controllers I've messed with. But some of the chord and scale features on the Mk4 Launchkeys seem way more useful for me than a nicer key bed.

Because it’s unique to the music market because it’s portable and battery powered well built and powerful for what it does for the size so TE can get away with the price. People drop that sort of money on SLR cameras and lenses and some.

I'm glad to run into a video where someone isn't crying, screaming and throwing up about the price of this thing. If you don't want to buy it/can't afford it/don't think it's worth it then oh well, keep it pushing. I think the OP XY is really cool and if someone is going to talk about it, I'd rather watch a video where someone talks about the device itself and not just the price point. I see a lot of folks calling it overpriced, but not a lot of folks showing another device that does what it does for a substantially lower price, certainly not without a desk covered in stuff. A Digitakt does a lot of what it does, but it doesn't have any synths. You're closer to getting the same thing from a combo of a Digitakt and a Digitone, and that takes you close to the same price point, both need to be plugged in and is substantially less portable.

Its much easier to just change koala input to audio in...and record all synths into pads

If you exit keyboard mode, it won't trigger midi when you resample

Your hand keeps making the camera focus go blurry, especially at the start I thought my u Tube quality settings were low! Maybe shoot with fixed focus or use a pen to point. Just a suggestion. Yer that keyboard mode threw me aswell.

The other way around, using koala as a sample source, is probably even nicer. You cannot only time stretch the samples, you also can sample pitched up sounds to pitch it back down once on the P-6. It creates a little extra grittiness and more sampling time
