Got a hungry noise inside my head Knows the flavor of the timeless night I've dreamt the sky but when its gone to bed Never manage to taste the light I can never manage to taste the light I lay feeling on the grassy ground Spits and shakes and tries to hide I can barely feel but I won't stay still You can hear her laughing on the other side You can hear her laughing on the other side A feast th...
Marcus Foster - Shadows of the City + Lyrics.m4v

Oh the streets are bleeding out for a real dream that's not filled with unmarked bills When the moon turns its back to let off steam you're faced with a cold chill There's a bird at the window, smoke in it's eye, singing off key There's a wounded girl with her heart-shaped shoe in the shadows In the shadows In the shadows Of the city In the shadows Of the city Well the trains are half empty wit...
Who sings this song? Can't find it on iTunes!
Omar Faouri it's Marcus Foster!
I dont' remember this episode though but it is pretty good
Michael Dorn clearly played a fair bit of baseball in his time.
This was hilariously great! What's the backstory to this game? I didn't see many DS9 episodes but others I know did, but they never told me about the baseball game.
The Vulcan rival to Sisko challenged him to a baseball game. Apparently, the Vulcans took to the game and their superior physical skill made them much better.
I thought it was funny knowing that the guy who plays Rom was actually a fairly good ball player and had to play it down so he could be such an awful player in character.
supposedly he was good enough to go pro, but choose to pursuit acting. he had to play right handed instead of his natural left in order to play badly
10:18 :) "YOU'RE GONE!!!!!"
when you miss the pickle play it do not like it when you steel home
Yankees become Niners 49ers San Francisco the Cisco 12 th player on that list
I heard a rumor that the actor who played Rom is actually a professional Baseball player. Is that true?
He was semi-pro in high school but decided to be an actor instead of becoming a full professional baseball player.
<3
Death to the Opposition!
Scotch gum :)
Worf never moves at the end. He sits behind the doctor and never moves an inch. I think that was a mannequin made to look like him.
Has anyone ever explained to Vulcans that bullying is not logical? It is something done to satisfy and emotional need.
I think TNG is one of the few sci-fi shows that broke out of simply being popular among sci-fi fan circles, it was a show that broke into popular culture. DS9 was a bit more under the radar and I think was in danger of not getting seven seasons. SG1, X-files, and Smallville must have had tremendous support to all break 200 episodes. I'm a bit sad there aren't any spacer shows on right now, the syfy channel isn't doing too well I think.
A show having seven seasons might make it seem like there are an infinite amount of moments to draw from. I wonder if TNG ending at seven seasons set a precedent for DS9 and Voyager. I think TNG was contracted for an eighth season but they decided not to do it for a few reasons.
And who says that Worf doesn't have a sense of humor?
They should have just recruited Odo to be a player instead of umpire. I mean, that guy could just shape shift to catch the ball with ease.
I love how Sisko and his crew verbally skewered Solvak, serves that arrogant bastard right for his stupid taunting of Sisko over an incident at Starfleet Academy. If I were a Vulcan, I'd regard Solvak's behavior and attitude as immoral and illogical. I'd also tell Sisko that Solvak does NOT speak for all Vulcans and that Solvak's a disgrace to Vulcankind.
why is this song sooooo unknown by the most people!!!! Sooooo good!
I figured that he was really a good player. You gotta be very good to play that bad. I was a lousy player when I was a kid, but never that bad.
Have you seen "Threshold", or "Twisted" by any chance? Check blip.tv/sf-debris-opinionated-reviews if you want more examples.
where can i buy this version of the song!?
It must've hurt him to play so badly in this episode. XD
Love it!
Ezri is so cute! "did i forget to wear my spots today?"
nice editing - thank you *VBS* "Find him and kill him!" LMAO
Security Chief Odo would have been great playing baseball, being a shape shifter he could stretch his arm & catch the balls.lol!!!!!!!
Warf, "find him and kill him!" and "death to the opposition". love it. words to live by. :)
he is so amazing! i wanna see him live!
this is honestly the worst episode of star trek in history
Odo doing an Umpire was just golden.
Anyone else think Jake looks like a McDonald's employee in that outfit?
Captain Solok gives me shivers...in a good way. *purr*
i want his record so bad but i live in the US and they dont sell it here :(
Scotch flavored gum? Why hasn't anyone marketed that before?
I'm being deadly serious here. I will travel many, many hundreds of miles to see this man live.
true cool-ness ;) xxx
Facepalm. That's Sisko.
They should have made an episode where DS9 plays against a Klingon hockey team.
So.....how's all that Dominion war thing going, huh?
uh this is really not that far from "gimme shelter" like in any way. it rocks but he def ripped off a pretty recognizable classic
"What did you infuse it with?" "Scotch..." Damn O'Brien, you know how to make chewing gum.
Worf did steal the episode with 2 lines didn't he?
I saw him live last night.. My heart broke several times. Had never heard of him. This is so, so, so, so incredibly good.
DEATH TO THE OPPOSITION!
Death To The Opposition...Find Him And Kill Him!!!
@Ragitsu Not so fun! :D Has to be traditional...and anyway, Odo can probably tell as well as a computer.
"Death to the opposition." "Find him and kill him!" Man, Worf is a crackup. Like @dsmiley53, I almost died laughing. :P You should've kept in the scene where Nog has to go find the Vulcan to tag him. Hilarious.
