​@@AbeFlips Well, I am very new to pinball, few months only... but I was trying to nudge thinking that it moved the table rather than the ball - I think it may have largely the same effect but I was much more kind of moving the table than kind of slapping it to pop the ball out. Will go to my local pinball place tomorrow and try this technique!

You should read the balls speed, so that doesn't happen in the first place. Now you have a few options here which i don't explain here but they are: microflips (tip pass or "the ostermeier"), don't pass at all but shoot, rolling post passes, post catches and Shatzes (alley passes). Quite advanced techniques and depending on the machine and your skill just a few might work. That's Pinball 😍

Like with any sport, if done too much or too intensely, you can injure yourself. Therefore, I suggest playing and paying attention to your body's feedback. I know people who have played aggressively over decades without problems, but I am also aware of individuals with physical issues. Typically, the body tolerates playing pinball well, unless it is done to an extreme extent. If you have RSI-related pain, pushing the buttons could aggravate the issue, but nudging should be well tolerated. You can reduce the resistance of the flipper buttons by adjusting the switches slightly, requiring less force to push the button. This adjustment helps me to play longer sessions (I also have RSI...)

@@AbeFlips Thanks for your reply! I had problems with my arms because of excessive typing and clicking for some years. Now it is about ok, but playing the piano or the guitar is still difficult. Playing digital pinball with my Switch Pro Controller is ok...but the main reason why I haven't bought a real machine or a real VPIN yet is standing behind the cab and pressing the buttons...sitting in front of the computer with a controller is better for my arms. Judging from your dialect, are you from Austria or Germany? I am from Austria. :)

@@leanderquest Yeah, I'm Tirolian. Look for a Pinball location near you and play for a few hours and see how it goes. Would be bad if you miss that opportunity and don't experience the feeling of owning a pinball machine. It's like one of the best things ever! I also have problems with guitar, but I learned to adapt... However, controller can still be bad for me.

@@AbeFlips Warst du schon mal im Prater in Wien? Da gibts anscheinend einige...auch Lord of the Rings, Medieval Madness...einige meiner Lieblings. In Vöcklabruck gibts die Flippsarena...aber ich weiß nicht, ob ich mal probieren soll. Ich hab in meinem Leben ca. 500 Stunden digital gespielt und 5 Minuten in echt, weil es keine Tische in meiner Nähe gab bzw. ich jetzt wegen der Arme nicht weiß. Aber ausprobieren sollte ich wohl mal. Wieso kannst du mit einem Controller nicht spielen? Die Tasten vom Switch Pro Controller sind einfach zum Drücken...einfacher als Flipperbuttons.

Hey, it sounds like you need to develop a better understanding of how the ball behaves and gain a feel for the angles and timing. One way to practice is to repeatedly catch balls coming in a consistent manner, allowing you to anticipate the catch and understand the trajectory. Later on, you can apply this technique during normal gameplay. If you remove the glass, you can let the ball roll from the same starting point and practice your catching skills this way. It might be helpful to start with dead bounces first. This technique is very effective as it reduces the ball's energy, requiring no effort on your part - just avoid flipping the ball Be sure to check out my tutorial playlist, as it is organized by importance. Thanks for your reply and patience! Yes, I have been practicing dead pass, sometimes it works, sometimes I misjudged the angle and it went down the drain😅. It seems dead pass works well when the bass drop down at high speed at certain angle, but at slow speed it is very easy to drain. And I need to resist the urge to press flippers whenever the ball is coming down. 😂

Gut erkannt, das sind Titan competetive flipper rubbers. Sie nutzen etwas schneller ab, reicht aber für den Heimgebrauch absolut. Das Spielgefühl ist sehr gut und präzise. Ich bestelle sie bei pinballshop.nl, weil kein anderer Händler sie in D hat.

Damn, that must have been a bad experience, I'm sorry to hear that. The "no risk" referred to my commitment to the deadline. So if I can't deliver on time or we don't reach the goal, you will get the money back from kickstarter. You are right, this is my first Kickstarter experience and I hope people understand this.

​@@AbeFlips I'd like to put in a second vote for Blu-ray, on behalf of the younger crowd at that. For those of us with spotty internet, nothing beats owning physical, high-bitrate media. As a filmmaker I understand the production expenses vs streaming, but I'm a very firm believer that disc media will outlast the internet. Excited to follow this project regardless!

@@AbeFlips This is different though, as it would be a collector's item. Whether the format is dying or not it would be a great perk. Look how many music artists make limited runs of cassettes and minidiscs these days!

Blu-Ray has been added. However, it's only possible too choose this Add-On with the physical TIERS. ("Digital Version" Pack is excluded)

​@@AbeFlips I'm not seeing the physical tiers, although I do see the text saying BluRay can be added to physical as an add-on, like you said. Are physical tiers sold out, or not yet added to the Kickstarter? Love the videos and share them frequently. Slap-save is epic!

Make sure the game is leveled from side to side at a pitch of ~ 6.8°. There is a rubber post at the exit (right side) of the exit of the reel. Remove it and put it in the free hole one step above. From an autoplunge the ball should bounce off of that post onto the left flipper. A clean shot from the left flipper into the reel should feed the right upper flipper. If it bounces off of the right wall above it, you have to adjust the ballguide of the reel. Check out pinside for that. Good Luck!
