I remember Doug Kimball from Chester. Played against him in football. John Kinna from Fairfield and Mark Fellows from Chateau. Mark went on to play for the Chargers for one season. 40 years later, I'm surprised I even remember.😂

I remember sitting in the stands for this game.

That was a great year for football in the intermountain area with BYU winning the national championship as well as Montana State in their division. I believe Ricks College in Rexburg won the Jr. College championship as well. No one seem to take note of it.

It took them 37 years before they finally made it to the championship once again, and through incredible odds. Good luck to Montana State!

Frank Carpano! WJAR-10 (Providence RI) and Coach Griffin before he went to Syracuse University as an Assistant coach working with QB's. Griffin was a QB Whisperer! He developed Donovan McNabb at Syracuse.

I was a student that year. Too bad the recoding left out the Fresno game. We listened in the dorms, even though the outcome looked sealed, we kept listening. What a comeback!

I was thrilled to see my dad's brother's photo included. We had trouble locating a photo. This is a touching tribute to all the men and women who sacrificed.

I used to watch this vhs daily as a kid... then the tape broke... probably around 1996. Thank you for this!!! I love hearing Dean Alexander and re-living these awesome memories. Go 'Cats! I'm making my son watch this tonight.
