Hi! I just wanted to come here and comment that me and my sister first found your songs about 10 years ago, I was 9 years old and stumbled across the jif to cif song and played it non stop for a few months, singing it everyday just to annoy my sister, who is now 23! Every now and again, we come back to this channel and watch all the songs again, our fav "doors" is one we sing every few weeks, us quoting "leave it ajar if you're expecting a friend". Whenever we cant remember where the car was parked we always look at the roof to make sure its not there!! Thank you for providing so much fun and inside jokes for me and my sister these past 10 years, hope you are doing well! We are some of your biggest fans for sure!

I ordered CDs off your website for my ladyfriend after this and Neil Norman Wilkinson had us in total hysterics. Just the best.

Approximately once a month this tune will pop into my head and I'll come back here to listen to it again. It's a masterpiece. It's a shame the video is so low effort though. It would have been nice if you'd made an animation or something to go with it, rather than just throwing together a bunch of clips from the show. I guess you can't have everything...

That is the posh one of the Dublin songs. There is also a very rude one where more of the words are "rude". The "cultures" of different sides of the liffy had their own ones. People were just laughing as they sung their own songs. Their ways of "praying" laughing out the devil of sadness. and hoping that their mothers(mammy's) would not slap them with the strong rubber gloves if they were not being good. Great gloves for lots of things. Different colours for different things for you or her (missus or mammy) Gents had a strong black pair for clearing out the sewer pipes outside your home.... Colour coding the Dubs were doing with gloves, colour coding before the industry coppied it. The rich ones saying it was a new way. Like poo(poo= my translation of the real words) it was. Red of course was the way your hands would get if you got slapped. That was a while back, of course these days no one slaps their kids. I hope. My mother didn't, leading the new way back then. Never slapped us.
