I have had trichotillomania (eyebrows/lashes) all my life & I just want to say that I appreciate you for making a video talking about this. Not many people will discuss it in a public way. You are not alone. I just recently had a relapse, so I’m now in the process of trying to get back to where it had been before losing that progress.

I really feel a wave of emotions in my head and heart seeing you out there. Maybe i think of myself at your place. Being able to enjoy the hair you’ve got. It’s really great. I love it. I hope one day i have the courage to let it just grow and stop shaving. I want to be better. I love you so much. ❤️❤️

I’m completely bald. I shave with razor. Is the roller safe for me?? Also can you suggest something for the ingrowns which occur because of pulling and then shaving also. It would be really great. Thankyou! Awesome video. The depth you talk into is really important. It makes us viewers trust and give it a try atleast 🫶🏾

thank you for your comment - i appreciate you - having short / shaved hair will actually make it far easier to dermal roll - when it grows out it can be really easy to catch onto the hair so you won’t have that issue ☺️ with in grown hairs its tricky - the main thing I’d suggest is doing what you can to prevent them - making sure everything you use on your scalp including fingers are clean - gently exfoliating may be helpful too - i won’t comment too much on managing ingrown hairs just yet - id prefer to give a more thorough & educated recommendation rather than only my own personal experience ☺️

Hello, I have been suffering from trichotillomania since I was six years old, and now I am twenty years old. I have tried many methods to get rid of trichotillomania, such as shaving my hair and using a Ken watch. I went to a psychologist, but I felt that he did not know much about Trichotillomania

I can completely relate to what you're saying - it can be quite difficult finding the right therapist for any mental health issues - but for trichotillomania specifically it can be even more difficult - unfortunately there is little awareness & understanding into the disorder - it is also a fairly complex condition - in most cases we have other mental health co-morbidities - but i think having a strong focus on improving your life as a whole, not just the "problem" behaviour is what has been most helpful for me - and coincidentally improving my life has in turn helped with my trichotillomania - i'd suggest to not give up on finding the right therapist if that type of support is what you need right now - it can just take some time xx
