Hiking Parque National Camino de Cruces! Panama 🇵🇦
Yep, that's the place...I'll be back in 3 weeks... 🙂
Nice video. You did well with your editing 😊 thanks for sharing...
Thank you I’m still learning 😊
@LaTreva-ii2ix Good deal, never stop learning! I'm getting my pensionado visa this year, so I'll be visiting and do plan to move there next year. I retired in July, so I'm getting used to that, but I love it :)
Also, do you have to have a certain visa to stay there over 90 days or you could just retire and move there without having a visa
I have the retirement visa showing $1000 or more in lifetime income. You definitely need a visa. Thanks for watching. ❤️
I would like to ask you is your light bill like that every month $900 or that’s just the first time when you moved in
My bill had been around $200 before I got the $900 electric bill. But $200 is still high not sure why mine is so high. Thanks for watching. ❤️
Thank you for replying back to me I’m retiring in two years I live in Florida, but it’s so expensive here now so I’m looking for a warm climate in a different place to move to where I can have peace to myself. I am also a people person so I know I would make some new friends.can you give me some pointers of what areas to move to if you don’t mind. Wish you a happy new year in Panama
Hello again my sister would like to know is the rent reasonable there or where you live at sorry to bother you
If you're familiar with Relocation Tours to Panama, are they worth the cost? I see the advertising for them all over UA-cam and IG.
I didn’t use them I did all the research on UA-cam and WhatsApp groups 😂. When I arrived I had a good idea what was going on and rented a car and got out there myself. My first trip I stayed for 30 days in 2 different locations and that was all I needed. I’m single so I knew I didn’t want to live too far from the city. I didn’t want to feel isolated.
Im thinking about moving to panama what area you think to move to in 2 year
It depends on your lifestyle and what you’re looking for.
Are the cars there more resonably priced? Any idea?
Used cars are more affordable here.
@@LaTreva-ii2ix Gotcha! Thanks lady. Happy New Year to you!!
@@christiner6104 Happy New Year
You "must" wear your seatbelt in Panama. A ticket could range north of $250.00
Wow! Thanks for sharing.
You can purchase the transit pamphlet at Farmacias Arrocha.
Okay thanks❤️
Do not use ibuprofen if you can help it.... Use 100% Castor Oil.. You'll thank me later.
Thank you for the tip.
Not your vibe😂
It wasn’t 😂 I ended up having a great time. Thanks for watching.
My aunt used to have a time share at the Decameron. Glad you made the best of it and had a good time.
It’s definitely a family resort. I had a good time. Thanks for watching.
great channel! im a canadian itchy to leave and panama seems like one of the 'easier' places to move to. Maybe you could make a video of the visa approach you took? best wishes for the new year! BTW you look like halle berry! 😍
Thank you and I will make that video soon. Thanks for watching ❤️
Hi. Great video. Was the 900 electric bill for a month, quarter, or year?
Thank you!😊 The bill was for 1 month. 😫
Like your channel I just subscribed 👍
Thank you ❤️
@ you’re welcome!
❤️
Does the trash issue bother you at all? Do you really like the San Francisco area more so than living in the city? Do you feel as safe as a single lady moving around by yourself? Thanks
Great questions! I don’t see lots of trash around my area so it’s not a problem. My trash can is right outside my door by the stairwell and the take it out a couple of times a day. No big trash issues when I walk around San Francisco. I love San Francisco everything is 10 minutes away and it’s a lot quieter than the city. Lots of horns and construction going on in the city. Safety concerns has never been a problem for me. I use the same precautions I would use in the states. I feel more safe here than in California 😂 Thank you for watching ❤️
Wow you’re soo beautiful ☺️and good video !
Thank you and thanks for watching ❤️
@@LaTreva-ii2ix☺️ do you have a instagram?
Very educational and aspiring video.👍🏿 My condolences to you of the lost of your husband 🙏🏿
Thank you and thanks for watching.
Do you personaly have any issues with mold there?
I don’t have any issues but I use the damp rid product to help keep the moisture down in my house. Thank you for watching. ❤️
@@LaTreva-ii2ix Thank you for that and yes it was a pleasure watching. I will check out your other vids. Panama and Costa Rica have been on my radar for a few years and i'm closing in on making a decision.
I heard Costa Rica is more expensive. I have friends who moved there and have now relocated to Panama.
@@LaTreva-ii2ix Noted! thank u for that.
A person should move back to States but it won't be better, either accept the culture or not but it's better than the white culture that is very hateful.
Does Amazon ship there? Is it Safe? Are they on the same electrical grid as America 60/Hertz 120/volts? Are there jobs in the renewable energy industry? And I’m 51 and wondering how were you able to retire at 55😊. I know you said “A” question but they keep coming. Lol. Hope to be there with you someday..
Yes to Amazon shipping with no problem. Electric is the same as the US. A lot of jobs are protected for the citizens of Panama you would have to speak with a lawyer or research that. Thank you for watching I hope it helps.
May I ask, do you own or rent your place? If either, how much? Planning to retire in 4 to 5 years and researching choices. A million thanks in advance.
Gorgeous teeth and congratulations on your new life❣️
Thank you so much!❤️
I loved you apt 💯🇵🇦🌎
Thank you ❤️
Great vid ..beautiful black lady..🇵🇦🌎
Thank you ❤️
You are the first to report $900 electric bill. Someone is definitely jacking your line. Also, cooking helps save money. As an expat myself I had to adopt local ways and not US ways.
Someone has to be jacking it! I cook at home everyday but I do go out with other expats or when I’m traveling around the country it adds up. What country do you live in?
Great video. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for watching ❤️
Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for watching ❤️
Im choosing between Panama and Mexico right now. I heard of high electric bills in Mexico but this is the first I heard of it in Panama. If the cost of living is the same as America. Panama will come off my list. You look great!! I want to retire at 55 as well. I'm thinking I'll be between the states and another country because of my daughter and grandbaby. Thanks for sharing.
My bill was $900! I’m going to do a separate video on it and list the steps that I took to try to correct it. But I paid it. Thanks for watching ❤️
@@LaTreva-ii2ixthanks for sharing. I added to my comment.
You will save money here but you definitely have to be diligent about your spending. Something has to be going on with my meter. I chose Panama because it was so close to the US. Easy flights back to see my family.
@LaTreva-ii2ix my mom asked me to not move to far away yet. That is why im looking south of America. Happy New Year.
Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas! 🎁
@@LaTreva-ii2ix How are your travels gping? 😀
I’m still working my way around Panama. I love it!❤️
@@LaTreva-ii2ix Good for you. 😀
Thank you for your honest perspective. My husband and I are considering Panama. One concern I have, as a black woman, is my hair care. Where do you get your hair braided? A hair braider is a necessity for me.
Thank you for watching❤️ I get my braids done by @rhairstudio she is on instagram. I really need mine done again the prices for what I get is the same as what I was paying in California. $180
@ so helpful’! Thank you!
Today is Dec 28th. I am here on Panama City. We came to see about moving here also. We've been here three days now. We've gotten to see some neighborhoods and property around the area. I can say that I agree with you 100%. I see where I would save on housing and even some fully furnished places. But so far I am really enjoying my time here. This video is very much accurate with how things have been. Good video. Thanks.
It is great to hear that you are enjoying Panama! It was a great experience for me, too. Thank you for watching ❤️
Did you buy a car in Panama or ship from the U.S?
I purchased my car here in Panama. Thank you for watching ❤️
Panama 🇵🇦 charges gringo fees and local fees. If my electric ⚡️ bill was $900, I’d move out of that country the next day. 🥺 ♊️ 👩🏽 🌟 🌍
😂😂😂 I’m not moving I just need to figure out why and fix it. Thanks for watching.
Sis, go to Johannesburg, South Africa 🇿🇦. South Africa 🇿🇦 offers a 90 day free visa so you can use that. Their COL is lower than Panama 🇵🇦. I used The Real South Africa 🇿🇦 luxury touring company when I went and I have zero cons to report. They speak English and we are in the majority in that country. 🥹🙂♊️ 👩🏽 🌟🌍
I appreciate your suggestion, but I'm happy in Panama right now. Thank you for watching! ❤️ I will check it out for future travels.
You look very young so congratulations on your early retirement.
I've been working since I was a teenager. I'm ready to enjoy my life at 55. Thank you for watching ❤️
What is the name of that park? Thanks for sharing your journey.
Parque Omar. Thanks for watching.
Wow! Blessings to you sista! You are a great inspiration!
Thank you ❤️
Not so crazy about your tour guide 😏
😂😂😂😂. Thank you for watching ❤️
I am preparing for my move to Panama in 2025. Im glad you're having a great experience. Maybe one day i will meet you. Dont worry im not crazy lol I will be looking to have a friend circle as I will be alone as well. Glad you enjoyed your spa treatments😊
Thank you for watching! See you in Panama 🇵🇦
That park is amazing, saw someone else working out there. Do you have a braider there, or do you braid your own hair?
I love Parque Omar. I do have a Braider here. She’s on instagram Rhairstudio. Thank you for watching.
Please be aware that imported products will cost more because the government wants to protect national production. Sort of like what Trump is planning to do with tariffs. But 900 dollars electric bill? Where do you live, lady? It's funny how Americans think Panamanians are laid back and Panamanians think Americans are always in a rush 😂
Yes $900….😂 Thanks for watching.❤️
I have four apartments and between all of them I pay around $200 for electricity in the city. So, I think your meter is being hijacked
That’s what I thought too. But I’ve been taking pictures of the meter to verify. I put in a claim and nothing really happened. Thanks for watching ❤️
@@LaTreva-ii2ix I would call an electrician to check the wiring to your meter. Don't worry if they cut the seal.
@@JR-mo8os or put in a formal complaint to acodeco, Panama's consumer protection agency.
Thank you
Thank you
$900 for electricity?! What? I have never heard it that high? Where are you living? I'm Panamanian and never in my life have I paid that much. Maybe you are living in the wrong place, someone is ripping you off, or you are running the AC day and night (even when you are not at home). That's crazy!
Someone is jacking her meter. Should have it checked for illegal hook ups.
That’s what I said but I put in a claim and nothing happened. I know I’m not using that much electricity. Thanks for watching ❤️
@LaTreva-ii2ix ~~~I been in Costa Rica for 20 years and my place is incorporated under an English name. So ICE charges me $450 a month for power. I've had 3 different lawyers draw proposals and nada. I built all my places ground up on property I've owned. Luckily I live close to the Panama 🇵🇦 border otherwise I couldn't afford to live in CR. This was all pennies when I bought, I'd stay in that country for months on change.
I live in the City/my electric bill was $57. We don't run our a/c when weren't home. We run out a/c in our bedroom at night/we use fans throughout the rest of the condo. I wouldn't trade my life in Panama for anything because living in the States was slowly killing me.
@kennyroberts2703 ~ I heard that!! I live on the 2nd longest left wave in the world 🌎 and I rent cabins. Which is a point I forgot to mention, I have 4 meters and no matter if I'm dead off season or full house for months it's the same bill. Hahaha I visit David PA once in awhile.
I think often when expats say Panama they're referring to Panama City . I believe that it is cheaper to live in the interior of Panama in some of those towns, than it is living in Panama City itself. If you want more affordable living, move to the interior.
You are correct! I love the city, but it is quite noisy and more expensive. I live in San Francisco area it’s more affordable and less noisy. Thanks for watching ❤️
@@LaTreva-ii2ix have you looked at the canal zone area? Clayton, Albrook, Howard, Balboa, etc. Those places are like a different world, yet they are close enough to the city to be there in minutes.
Deals can be found in the City. Most of those deals will be found by word of mouth. Just remember that 💰 talks/everything is negotiable. Good luck in your new life.
Great apartment. What part of Panama is it located in?
San Francisco area. Thanks for watching ❤️
Great information! Trying to decide between moving to Panama vs Belize. I’ll be visiting Belize next week then I’ll plan a visit to Panama City soon after. Thank you!
I’m sure you’ll love Belize, it’s beautiful there! Let me know your thoughts after your visit. Thanks for watching.
@@LaTreva-ii2ix I’m looking forward to the trip. I’ll keep you posted. Thanks again

I never got the chance to do the hike looks nice.
It was a great experience. Thank you for watching.
Like to see beautiful women enjoy them self's. One life to live
I had so much fun! It was $20 for the ferry and we spent 7 hours on the beach. Thank you for watching.❤️
Hey! Love your videos! I am planning to move to Panama in 2025. Was that your electric bill for a month?
Yes! But not all buildings have the same usage amounts. You definitely want to see the previous electric bills.
