I think the liquid lipsticks are nice, but not must haves. However, I'm still a big fan of the lipsticks.

It's not you, it's the fragrance! You're not doing anything wrong. I think the fragrance itself simply doesn't appeal to you. Doesn't matter if it's a fancy fragrance or not. I've only started seriously wearing fragrances myself within the past 2 years. I've been taking my time to learn and better understand the fragrance world. As my understanding of notes start to grow, I'm realizing that I seem to gravitate towards warm, spicy, sweet, gourmand, and some floral scents. With Ruby Reign, I dislike it more than I like it. There's something in it that I really don't care for, but my nose still isn't skilled enough yet to specifically identify it. It has a more grassy, woodsy, earthy scent to me overall. It's probably great for people who like those type of scents. It's just not my cup of tea and that's ok. So don't think you're doing something wrong just because you don't like it. You can try to salvage it by layering it with fragrances that you do like. I normally spray a sweet fragrance on top of it to help make it more wearable for me. It still has that underlying grassy scent, but it becomes a lot lighter and less unpleasant. I hope this helps! ️❤️

They're fantastic! I love the silky formula and how saturated the color applies. I have to be careful sometimes to not apply too much. I think the Coral shade would be a nice addition to the two you have. I actually ended up getting all the remaining blush and highlighter shades. I just haven't managed to film them yet. I'm hoping I'm able to do it within the next couple of weeks. I also recommend getting them from Selfridges. The price is usually a lot lower than even sale prices. The only thing is that Selfridges charges a flat $30 shipping fee per order, but you can opt to pay $55 to get free shipping for a year. Their shipping is also usually super fast. You're very welcome. For me, the Creme quads are a truly fantastic formula. They may even be rivaling for the top spot above the wet/dry formula, but time will tell after I use them more. I think the Violet quad would be stunning on you.

I rarely use primer because it's an extra step, but I use the NARS primer for those few moments when I do.

That tan shade is getting the side eye. I wish it was more brown/peach like it looks in the pan, or if it was a sparkly shade like in the Violet quad. I do love the rest of the green and gold shades. I don't see myself really using that tan color either, but I'm going to play around with it. Maybe it'll look different when actually applied to the eyes.

I have to come back to your comment. I've now watched a few videos with swatches on fairer and medium skin tones, and I'm amazed by how different the swatches look on my deeper skin. Oftentimes there will be a slight difference, but the difference is so great in this case that the swatches don't even seem like they're from the same palettes. It's fascinating. I'm hoping to see other swatches on deeper skin to compare.

Ruth, thanks for your question. In my opinion, no. My understanding of bronzers is that they are meant to warm/tan your complexion and give you a sunkissed effect on the skin. I would say that Tanlight is definitely a highlighter. It gives off a nice, luminous sheen that gives your skin a beautiful glow. I think trying to use it as a bronzer might not give the look you're aiming to achieve.

I think Tanlight would be a nice compliment to the two. If you're more focused on the bottom duo shades, Tanlight's peach color is a nice addition to the range. However if you're more focused on the top duo shades, Tanlight is so close to Flicker that it could be a skip. Flicker is just slightly more golden than Tanlight.
