El capi un abrazo tremenda historia
Great masterclass. Thank you.
Muchas gracias! What got you interested in this concept?
Very good presentation!!
Thanks you - glad you found it interesting. Be sure to check out my other talks if you’re into this kind of stuff 🤙🏽
@@DannyConcha definitely keep doing these! You have a great flow
man this is honestly a really great presentation, well played 🤙
much appreciated bro! What brought you to the talk?
@@DannyConcha I've been tasked with finding out more about the Flanêur in my art class and your video was of great assistance
I love this, thank you for presenting this and providing this introduction to flaneurship !
You're welcome! What got you into the idea of "flaneur"?
@@DannyConcha I think Nassim Taleb was the person who first introduced me to the concept as it is in his twitter bio, and as well he refers to the idea in his writing.
Really insightful presentation! Thank you. Any literature tips on the concept of the flaneur?
Thanks! I would of course recommend the work of Walter Benjamin ("Arcades Project" and "The Writer of Modern Life") but for a more general/accessible book, choose "The Flaneur" by Edmund White. Lauren Elkin also has a great book called "The Flaneuse" for a feminist perspective and recasting of the figure which is certainly an interesting take too! Enjoy
You guys have a lot to learn. "Relative Peace" lol Search for the truth guys, stop following theories. How much lies can you uncover?
Hey man, thanks for tuning in… I think you misunderstood the point of this talk - it’s a playful look at THEORIES of the end of the world through history… the thing about the apocalypse is that there’s no real “truth” to be found. It’s all hypothesis, and that’s why we had some fun talking about it… anyhow wishing you a great day
@@DannyConcha I understand that to you, it all a hypothesis and fun etc. But to say there's no real "truth" to be found sound ironic. Should I take your statement to be true?? None of us have all the knowledge to conclude on what the absolute truth is(concerning our existence and purpose). That's why we believe. If you are humble and diligent enough, you will come closer to it. My advice, stay away from "modern mainstream scientism" and their theories. If you ask me, we are created beings, and we have a purpose.
@@Polaris-1 Appreciate you sharing your beliefs. However, at this stage in life I am more interested in exploring and discussing a whole range of ideas, rather than believing in a single idea. My talks are about exploring ideas and possibilities (not the “truth”) and are above all written to stimulate and entertain. If what I say is not for you, that’s fine bro… I’m not trying to convince anyone of anything - just having fun with friends 👍🏽
I stumbled on this when looking for videos about the equinox. Great inquiry combining history and science. Is it for a particular project? I love carnival so I'll have to watch that one too.
Hey Erin - thanks for the feedback! This is part of a lecture series I am running in Costa Rica. Stay tuned and spread if you find anything interesting/of value 👌🏽
@@DannyConcha I loved it!

Hey there! The best way is to go by bus from cartagena and seek out a local guide once you arrive
