There *should* be a behavioral health facility, ideally one run by the county, so you can transfer behavioral patients to them. Patients that are not currently experiencing a psychiatric emergency need to be immediately discharged. I would honestly sit them in the waiting room right next to the security desk, but every hospital is setup differently.

I can’t wait for the next season of bachelor in paradise!! Yellowstone is a great show if you haven’t watched it. Currently watching the perfect couple on Netflix which is pretty good. Also, I totally feel you on the whey protein-I use it too lol. Loved this video. 🫶🏼

I agree! I can see “making it hard enough “ to thin out the herd a bit , or getting used to have to prioritize work, being on-call etc, but 30h shifts with a new doctor, who’s stressed and tired beyond belief, and not a lot of experience, isn’t that an accident waiting to happen? What if a super complex case comes in at hour 29? I always wondered, how many years do you get overworked like that? Is it for residency?
