The Race Against Time is a loosely programmatic work depicting the hectic and fast-paced nature of life in the 21st century. In this highly original and well-crafted work, you will hear moments of stress, ambition, determination, willpower, burnout, breakthrough, and accomplishment in a cycle that modern life takes us through constantly. Many of the sections in this piece are short-lived, mirroring the ephemeral nature of each stage in the cycle. This piece ultimately serves as a reminder to sometimes stop “running the race”, and to find a healthy balance between working hard and enjoying life.

Ist das herrlich :) Ich (mittlerweile 21) habe das Stück in der 5. oder 6. Klasse mit dem Unterstufenchor meiner Schule aufgeführt. Ich selbst hab das Schlossgespenst gespielt und gesungen und fühle mich gerade so zurückversetzt :D ich kann einfach tatsächlich noch alles mitsingen. Eure Interpretation ist wirklich gelungen! Wesentlich aufwändiger als bei uns damals, aber immernoch super authentisch und die Kinder haben das hervorragend gemacht!
Diese "Rutsche" an der Bühne; wie wunderbar! Diese Musik wie nach einem Weltkrieg 1947 oder so ab 17:00 sind wir alle froh!Wir gingen entweder zum Verdunkeln an die Fenster oder direkt in die Kellerräume!
