It has been eight years since I did this to my horn and it still looks great. Unfortunately It spends most of the time in the case as life has got busy, but I had a lot of fun doing it.

OK Tony, I just finished my first tenor. A 59 Martin Indiana. Stripped the lacquer with Aircraft Stripper. After following the directions the finish came out splotched, not even at all. Should I have buffed it to an even hue before starting? I know, now's a good time to ask. thanks. Dan

Nice job, I’ll head to the hardware store after this craziness. You’ve given me hope, saw the first vid. I’ll probably talk to my repairman first and see if he can put my horn back together if I muck it up. Lol

I love global warming, more global warming is needed, if co2 can be helpful to increase temperatures than I do everything possible to exhaust as much as possible of it.

"NASA has confirmed that the outer atmosphere is cooling" as it does very 11 years as we go into solar minimum. See this from 2009: www.nasa.gov/topics/earth/features/coolingthermosphere.html It was followed by the 6 (shortly to be 7) years of the hottest global temperatures on record. What they are talking about here is a cooling of the thermosphere (the atmosphere above 100 km over our heads). Global warming refers to surface temperatures - you know, where we live.
