    De Santis is hidden populist and fascist... That's it!!! It's up to you if you like him to continue his Governorship... It's time to wake up and start impeachment for De Santis because of his personal fascism!!!

    Step down. Let somebody else see if they can do a better job than you're doing I'd like for you to get on your podcast and and have people that you've actually helped that are housed working and no longer needed of your services, you use people for your good cause not for theirs so you should stop giving them pastor bucks and pay him a fair wage for doing Fair Labor just like everybody else in your organization is getting paid a fair wage for Fair Labor you're one way buddy you need to stop let somebody else do it your way ain't working

    The 3rd house was ready to move in and looked nice but I think the 2nd one sitting right on the lake with the huge backyard was the best option cos you can change a house, and update it to your taste but you can't change location.

    Denying the problem by couching it in compassion, is part of the reason politicians are despised. Protect the vagrants rights and too bad if it hurts, negatively impacts, degrades, the taxpayers rights. You've lied for years about who the homeless are and folks are sick and tired of it.

    What part of this is bad? Under HB 1365: Homeless individuals are prohibited from camping on city streets, sidewalks, and parks-and instead placed in temporary shelters monitored by law enforcement agencies. The state of Florida has the enforcement tools needed to ensure local governments comply. Homeless shelters will require occupants to not use drugs. These shelters will also include substance abuse and mental health treatments. HB 1365 also provides alternatives for when homeless shelters have reached max capacity. It directs the Department of Children and Families to authorize temporary campsites that do the following: Maintain sanitation, including access to clean and operable restrooms and running water. Provide access to substance abuse and mental health treatment resources through coordination with the regional managing entity. Prohibit illegal substance use and alcohol use on the property and enforce this prohibition.

    I agree! And to talk about how there's no good evidence for any god. We need to be free to talk about how religion should become a relic of the past.

    • @judedadude3475
      @judedadude3475 2 місяці тому

      Lol religion was never mentioned, God was never mentioned, and you still have to talk about how you don’t believe in God. I bet you think about religion and God more than most religious people.

    • @kumaranvij
      @kumaranvij 2 місяці тому

      @@judedadude3475 He said we should talk about politics and religion. So, religion is mentioned. And gods are certainly a big part of religions - most of them, anyway. And I bet I do think more about religion than most people, because I think about how divisive and out-of-date it is quite often. There is no god, so I don't think of "him." I just think about how nuts it is to me that so many people still believe in supernatural beings.

    Everybody forgets how expensive their cars are (most people have been sucked into the leasing-debt racket that our government is running) and that is the biggest problem when it comes to homelessness. Especially since they've outpriced normal people from being able to live in walkable areas. It's going to collapse soon so the eligious will find out and it will be painful.

    It's mostly the shower thing.....no where to take showers without a huge hassle

  • @SJDevenney1
    @SJDevenney1 2 місяці тому

    Its is not just a shower or a job. That does not alleviate responsibility for the homeless on most homeless individuals. They are homeless for a reason. Until you have lived with someone you HAD to kick out you will never know. Until you have lived with someone that you love who brings home drugs, guns, abuse, house fires, death ect you will never understand. Please stop pretending that the homeless are innocent in their situation.

    So true. I volunteer at a nonprofit bike shop that does tons of outreach, people often forget the transportation aspect of getting out of homelessness. Cars it seems are a frustrating necessity for most Americans, between the ever increasing cost of fuel and insurance plus the time/space/skills to maintain a vehicle and the surprise repair bills it hard for full time workers to keep their car. And I am well aware not all unhoused people abuse drugs, reality is that many do or are in recovery so I’d much rather have them teeter over on a bike trail than be on the highways.

    I feel like the percentage of homeless people not on drugs is very small. People that are homeless might want a home but don’t want to work. You have 30 days to pay rent, 30 days to do something, 30 24 hour days. I have empathy for homeless people but only because it’s sad seeing anything living struggle.
