Great track but got absolutely decimated by it. British Downhill is no joke, hopefully a winter of wet weather riding will keep me upright more next year. Some days youre the dog.. some days youre the hydrant..

2024 SDA/BDS Race at Glencoe. Always fun learning new tracks, definitely missed some key lines but overall a smooth run for my first race living in Scotland.

RACE RUN: Pro Downhill Series #2 Mountain Creek

32nd place run at the Monster Energy Pro Downhill Series at Mountain Creek in New Jersey. Solid run, lacked a little bit of aggression and unclipped in a non-ideal spot (you'll probably hear it) but a good building block for the race season.

A solid first pro race run with some mistakes that cost me a few seconds here and there. Great start to the season all things considered. Thanks to my sponsors Aerospace Balancing Co. Inc. and Galfer USA

First installment of my gear list for the winter season 2020-2021.
Sooo good❤, plz have a higher quality, next goat is u
Sick! 🤘
I'm 73 and strictly do road riding, but that was fantastic. Had to close my eyes a couple of times, and I know the CO2 level in my room doubled.
Solid run Henry 💪 defo not the first to lay it down on those marbles!

Muddy as fuck!
Which trail is this? looks insane.
From my understanding it is the the only Downhill trail for bikes at the Trials Training Center in TN..dont know the name of it though
thanks! didnt know this place existed and Im in TN. I saw they have two trails on trailforks, Goat Trail and D'Saus but only see photos from Goat Trail. @@henrydavis3373
Solid word 💪💪
I should get my workplace to sponsor me. Was that hard? lol Nice run - that dirt looked almost perfect
How’s the weather down there? I’m looking to head down in the spring around Easter, curious what the temps are like around this time of year
40s-50s and will probably be a bit warmer during the spring
I really want to get down there soon, but I live in newhampshire so it’s pretty far
its a nice bike isnt it 😅 hope one day I have the chance to ride one also, theres a renthal fatbar on marketplace close to my city for the equivalent of 100 USDs. is it a nice handlebar? light with a nice feeling or?
Yeah I’ve had one set that’s lasted a whole season so far, switching to Deity for 2024 though
Yo keep up the videos, love it
Thanks, I Appreciate the support!
"Promosm" 💋
Jesus take the wheel!!!
Did you find they took a while to break in properly? I just did my first mountain hike in them (7 miles) and got a nasty blister.
No, I never had any problems breaking these in, first trek was about 12 miles on them, was with snowshoes mostly though.
I would like to know why you have chosen these over the Rapace?
Hi, thanks for the video. What about use this boot for trekking or hiking?
Very helpful review. I was wondering how did the Crow GTX held up again the winter cold up in the mountains. Would you recommend it for winter use as well?
Just finished up a hike that started at -20 degrees this past weekend and they performed very well. I also have a friend that uses them in winter in the Tatry mountains.
@@henrydavis3373 Cool! Those were some money well spent then I guess. Thanks for the info mate! Be healthy and keep mountaineering :)
That's not insulation. It's just the gore tex fabric cover lining.
It provides insulation, therefore I called it insulation.
@@henrydavis3373 I disagree. Goretex provides waterproofing while being as breathable as possible. The only reason I choose it. And these boots are the best boots I've ever owned FYI. Tough as nails.
@@ktraughb the boots are warmer than my hiking goretex boots. Therefore it has more insulation in the boot whether it’s from the goretex or not.
Salewa Poland done me well. Bought MTN trainer Lite according to my best knowledge and best advise from local mountain gear shop. After 70km local trails gone light mountains - shoe become unfriendly and scratching my heels. Salewa didnt help me with my 100% blister free guarantee so i have 170 EUR shoe that hurt me every sinlge step. Do not recomend at all
Interesting insight for that shoe, was that model giving you blisters because it was too loose or too tight around your foot?
@@henrydavis3373 do not know exactly what happened, but if i had to pick, i would say too tight.
@@pawelfilip okay thanks for the info, maybe will stay away from those ones. I imagine you used them for the Tatry?
@@henrydavis3373 actually lower local mountains - Karkonosze.
I just bought a pair of these and found your review on here. I enjoyed the insights you provided. I'll be doing some spring hiking in the white mountains this year and am hoping these will be good if I need to use crampons. Also, to add to the other person reply regarding your background lighting. I would honestly just try and find a flat, neutral patterned backdrop so that your camera can focus
Are they true to size?
Yes, for me atleast. Im a 45, got a 45 but since foot shape differs so much its hard to know until you try it on.
Very good review, but improve your background lights.
Thanks for the feedback! I’ve been doing a ton of research on lighting the past couple weeks just gotta save up a little more to buy it all. Next video should be much better
