Today I’ll be showing you salmon soap carving in the style of Coast Salish Native Americans.
But fist, I’d like to share a video by The Creative Advantage, featuring Roger Fernandes, a local Native American artist, storyteller and educator.
Storytelling, and Carving are one of the many traditional art forms of the native people here.
At the end of his story, Roger will demonstrate how to practice the Coast Salish Art style.
And YOU will get to practice these styles today!
