Paris vlog : The beauty I never saw before
Aesthetic, relaxing vlog where I am visiting Paris after the pandemic, and soaking up the Parisian vibe. It's a story about how our emotions impact how we perceive the world around us. We can be in one of the most beautiful cities in the world, but still think it's ugly and overrated... On the other hand, we can find beauty in the least remarkable of places, if it's happiness that fills us.
As always, thank you so much for watching...

beautiful. can u let me know what gimbal you use to hold the camera? thx. have a nice day <3
Boston, MA. is just like NYC but on a smaller scale. Love NYC especially during fall season. I'm from San Francisco, CA.
I would love to visit Boston one day! I’ve been to San Fran and it’s beautiful too ❤️the hilly landscape gives it such a unique look.
@@neska1348Indeed, San Francisco is particularly beautiful in the winter. The sunshine is plentiful, yet the wind carries a brisk coldness, and there's significantly less fog compared to the summer months.
Love your vlogs! 🥹
Thank you so much! ❤️
This is gorgeous! I could watch it all day. I hope you get back to posting. I like your style of videos.🙂
Thank you so much! Really appreciated! I hope I’ll be able to find time to post again soon ❤️. It’s just been difficult as I am a mum now 😅
Shame your memories of a time most of us could only dream about were so downbeat
Genius!
Oh wow thanks so much!
Thank you for this. I’m going to be starting PPE at Oxford in October and I’ve been struggling to feel excited for the longest time, weighed down by the dread of the workload, pressures and stresses it feels I’m promised. So it’s safe to say that reading that “no” at the end of the video made my heart sink for a second. However, I also know that I’ve been in similar environments to Oxford before in terms of academic stress and expectation, and, eventually, excelled, even if at times it felt really, really tough. I am grateful that I am able to live in the moment, most often when I’m surrounded by nature (which you showed Oxford has a beautiful lot of). I am also finding myself becoming a little more excited day by day, to the point where today I had to freak out for a second because I literally couldn’t contain my joy. Your advice to celebrate trying really hit home for me, and I hope to carry that throughout my time at Oxford so hopefully I never regret it. I’m sorry you had such a hard time, and truly understand where you’re coming from in terms of the stress to depression pipeline, but I’m glad you saw the light in it - finding your friends. I hope you’re much happier and at peace with your life now. Wish me luck.
Thank you for the comment! ❤️ I’m sorry I made you less excited for a moment. The Oxford environment is certainly not for everyone but just the fact that you’re already managing your expectations will probably make your experience much better than mine. Also if it makes you feel any better, when I was at Oxford some time ago, PPE students seemed to have the lightest workload and had lots of fun! It’s most likely still the case 😅. Mindset-wise, when it gets hard, please keep reminding yourself that Oxford is a bubble of some of the brightest and most hardworking students in the world so don’t ever doubt your own intelligence or capabilities. Even though I would not want to relive the whole experience again, I am certainly proud of what I have achieved and grateful for the many doors it has opened for me. Most importantly, it made me who I am today, and I love the person I have become. I hope Oxford will do the same for you ❤️.
@@neska1348 Thank you so, so much for that reply. That did actually make me feel a lot better, and the possibility of a (relatively) light workload is such a relief. I’ve heard that from current PPE students as well so hopefully it should ring true while I’m there! I think your video was beautiful and it’s equally beautiful how you’re able to appreciate that you wouldn’t be where or who you are today without having attended Oxford, despite its challenges - a true silver lining moment! I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t still more scared than excited. When I found out I got an offer back in January, I felt elated for about a minute and then quickly felt numb for weeks afterwards. I was so disappointed in myself, in my reaction. For some reason, that uncontainable joy I was expecting only seemed to come through in random, sporadic moments over the next few months. So, I’m trying to learn more about myself and how my mind and emotions may not always react to big life events the way I’d like or expect them to. And that’s okay, because there’s no rule book. We’re complicated beings, with complicated feelings, and as long as we give ourselves the grace to feel at our own pace, we can handle anything.
Not exactly classical a pop song played on a cello 👍🏻💯
waiting for part 2
Amazing content ❤ Looking forward to seeing more from you :)

Thank you very much! It was filmed in mid-November 2021.
this was so beautiful ❤️ thank you for your honesty. I've always admired Oxford University, you hear of the good but most never tell you the bad. This would help when weighing my choices. sending you lots of love 💛💛💛💛

Thank you for your comment! I’m glad you found it inspiring. Hope you dream comes true! ❤️
This was a beautiful video! I also have suspended from Oxford for a year, and was wondering how it felt coming back? Do you have any advice or tips on settling back in, or any new mindsets you tried to implement thatt helped?
Thanks so much! Hope you’re resting well during your year out. What I thought helped me was VERY casually prepping for exams in advance, like making notes etc. I was put on antidepressants for a while which helped too. As for mindsets, I focused on trying my best every day by sticking to a reasonable routine rather than results. Also, please know that suspension is more common than talked about and there is an FB group for suspended students, to help you feel less alone. Wishing you all the best ❤️
You should watch in 1080p resolution....,😎

Thank you so much for sharing your oxford experience with us. I went to a similar academic institution which is also highly ranked in my country and I have very similar sentiments to you. As rewarding and nostalgic as it seems in the hindsight, I will never forget how anxiety-inducing and stressful the actual experience was.
Thank you so much for your comment! I’m glad my story resonated with you ❤️. The experience also made me into the resilient person I am today, and I hope you feel the same way!

Hi. I‘m from Austria and wanna help some students here to start studying in Oxford because a lot of them are smart and wanna study there. Would it be possible to have a short call, Video-Call, connect on Social Media or something to answer some questions? Would be nice and thank you for sharing your vlogs. They are very interesting. :-)
Hi, I don’t do calls. But if you drop me an email on neska.public@gmail.com, I’d be happy to answer your questions there. That being said, it’s been a while since I graduated and even longer since I applied so some processes may now be different. I would suggest maybe finding some reddit groups with current Oxford students that could answer your questions with more up to date information.
❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹
Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️
Your words, the way describing your feelings and your perspective.. They are so soft :') I don't know who you are but I think it would be so beautiful chatting with you hehe. I really love the way telling your story and I'll be here to listen to the rest of it! <3

beautiful video and beautiful words S2
Thanks so much! ❤️
I clicked on this video and remembered how much I had previously enjoyed your videos as I began to watch this one. I don't want to sound cliché but I am in such disbelief that your channel is only as large as it is because your videos are of such high production quality. I am excited for more people to find and be excited about your lovely work. I especially enjoy how you weave the music in - what platform do you use to access and find the music? Thank you for taking me to the wonderful Paris for 5 minutes, neska (but now I need to get back to my A level revision...) :)
Thank you so much Rosie! I really appreciate this! 🙏❤️ UA-cam is a really slow journey for most people… I do it because I love making videos and the support I get from everyone. It would be great to monetise at some point though so I can give away the proceeds to charity 🤞🤞🤞. I mostly download songs from Artlist.io, though some are from FreeMusicArchive.org. Best of luck with A levels!!!
