I honestly wouldn't mind remakes of past MH games using the seamless approach that started with MHW. Especially with Tri since that where I began my hunt.

i love that in monster hunter the villages seem very multi ethnical, rare to see this in japanese games it gaves a nice feel

This whole scene is the embodiment of what I imagine a mh trade town would feel and be like, first time seeing this I was like wahhh is that a diablos armor, bro that's barroth armor, rath too, just seeing it animated sparked the child in me 😊

You know, I love Rise. I loved World. I think on the whole Monster Hunter has improved for the better. But the one thing that they are truly missing is... this. A proper hunting town. Minegarde from MH1 was one thing, but Loc Lac was something truly special. That feeling of leaving your small village and heading into the wider world, eager to show what you can do. Meeting new people and gaining new experiences. The hunting life.

The world and style of monster hunter is second to none. I know the game is very gameplay focused and doesn't really have much story going on, but I think it would be so sick to have this setting accompanied by a full RPG story akin to final fantasy or the tales series.

Such a different vibe. So chill yet brimming with life, so much more muted in its colour palette yet rich in its design. This is why as much as I love current MH games a part of me loves the older games just as much 🖤

Wish i could have gotten into the series earlier than 4 ultimate. I wish i was born in an earlier year.

This intro was more than enough to feel the atmosphere of the city while going to the hub (even if it was a bit empty when you arrived).

I want there to be a monster hunter netflix series with a group of 4 hunters as the MC's with the episode being a two parter with equal parts hanging and gathering info in the city hub and the other half hunting and every episodes title will just be the monsters name

And yet when we finally got a MH film it was nothing like this.

The ship departed from playstation only to return a decade later.

So much nostalgia. The intro really made me feel immersed in the world and made me excited to be in Loc Lac.

I‘ve never seen loc lac myself. The Servers got shut down only a few weeks before I finished the Moga Storyline 😢
