Thank you this really helped me
❤
Tysm I have a game tmw!
Great vid. Very clear. Clarification on not picking the ball up in the ruck (if you're not the halfback) would be useful, and additionally the law about playing the halfback too.
Help
I never imagined rugby was so complicated.
This is an excellent example to analyze. 2:40 - :47 the height and angles of the TH unit are all over place, whereas the green LH unit is nearly equal height and all business. You can serve tea from LH shoulder to Lock bum. This will always win for my money, especially when-as you pointed out-the TH is shifting his weight so much at the "Set." The blue TH gives up his rib cage to a superior unit, and they walk right through him. Proper Prop foot placement and step form are essential, but unit cohesion is crucial, especially if you're a smaller Prop. Second, blue 6 never engages, leaving his TH on an island, while the green engages just enough to ensure they've won the hit.
anyone come here cos the Philly Brotherly shove?
Best defensive centre of all time
Good simple drills for the young players
Well done video. You covered a lot in a very short amount of time. I had to pause it to look at some images and understand each point, but that's OK because I was looking for a short explanation. Thanks!
Good video
Now I’m more confused. Will just go back to shouting at the TV
woah woah .. slow down. this is way too quick
'Promo sm' 👏
I thought I understood breakdown, now I do not understand anything haha. Damn this is hard to understand.
I ❤ Rippa 🏉💪! Peter from ⛑️🇨🇭
Super drils ,,
What is the distance between the cones and the height of the catcher you're using?
This is a very informative and detailed video and series, very impressive and keep it up!!!

😂😂😂
How good to have one the greats to it do these analysis. Nothing worse then having someone that only a few people know trying to analyse a play. Keep up the good work.
These are sick and a good series
Great analysis, shoulder injuries cause me to do this a lot
Thanks man! I'm a football or soccer player I don't play any sport except soccer. I signed up for rippa rugby and I have a game in like next week. Thanks man I appreciate it ❤
Out of curiosity, what size was that medicine ball?
So how to ruck in rugby using the shoulders
outstanding - catch you later,;)
dear~wow,that's stunning . till next time.🤟
In England it is now waist or under. Personally, I am done with 'rugby' now, or rather, done with the dilapidated game it has become. Sadly, the current zeitgeist and its narrative have culled (killed) yet another aspect of joy in our society. Good show I say, I applaud those who support this movement of radical sanitisation. You are winning. I am all for player safety, and movements to optimise this within the actual remit and definition of the game, but this is not the game- it is a new one. Personally, the new game does not interest me, and I'm out. Not wasting my time seeing the game I used to love which did me immeasurable good and so many others be destroyed by the narrative of our time.
Have you seen this? ua-cam.com/video/TNR1GtJ2WEg/v-deo.html
We tried with my TomCats (my boys team) but it did not wordk !! They ran !!!
Mate you want to give the lads a ball who are taking the tackle. It stops the lads from putting their hands down in the tackle which will result in broken hands, wrist and arms later in a real game. Otherwise I love the drill.
The duck walk is a great leg builder and workout for all sports and sports conditioning and fitness training! 🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆💯💯💯❤❤
when i played rippa rugby i did stepping skills
Omg it’s a cartoon Michael!! 🤣🤣 this is hilarious!!

Underrated video. Reffing my first game tomorrow. Thanks from across the ditch!
More of the same please! Very confused rugby wife here 🙃
ᴘʀᴏᴍᴏsᴍ 💕
Great video thanks for sharing
Great
Really helpful mate
I’m still suffering from really bad migraines and head pain, 4 months after the injury :/
Really love Kendra story, very inspiring indeed, amazing support from her parents and family.!!!
Bad strategy in actual fights. Your opponent can just hit you on the nose
First portion there is no audio???
The 1 and 2 where from the defending team are closer/quicker than the attacking team?
See, you can tell this is fake because at 3:13 the player freezes up, John gives him water and he seems to recover. Everyone know when that happens to a forward you give him beer. (For back you use wine-cooler or sangria.) I've played with and without a scrumcap. Doubt it does much to prevent concussions but sure saves ware & tare on the ears and reduces cuts, bumps and bruises to the rest of your head. Can be a bit hot, but other than that I see no disadvantage.
