Nick is the only player that makes me think that you can be a guitar player and still write cinematic music, I mean I always saw guitar (electric guitar) as an instrument for high octane, bike chase type action sequences but Nick has changed that for me. You can be expressive and write cinematic music on an electric guitar. For me he's more than just a guitar player, I think he's an exceptional composer too and I won't be surprised if he writes music for films or some Netflix series in the future.

As a professional session musician and (in particular) guitarist for many years now, I just cannot understand what the fuss is here with an absolute plethora of highly talented guitarists making their appearance now and most especially since the advent of social platforming. He certainly has his own talent - definitely not particularly distinctive - but the world of the electric guitarist specifically is awash with the good and the great and still going strong. What I certainly did notice is his dress sense and ‘that’ hat!
