What type/size needle are you using and what type of thread?

I just purchased the new Singer SE 9180 very excited about the idea that my Janome9850 and Brother SE600 are all compatible . Natalie

My husband surprised me and got me the machine 2 days ago. I LOVE IT. So many options, beautiful stitches and still so much to explore as there are so many things this machine can do. I LOVE the knee lifter and use it constantly. It makes such a difference and, one can create their on stitch patterns.

Fantastic Machine. I have an older Singer Confidence 7463 and then upgraded to a Bernette B38. I never really loved the Bernette. I was thinking of getting the Singer Quantum Style 9985, but I have heard that it is not the best Machine. I fell in love with the Brother F420 and that is what I am getting next month. The old Singer goes to the Mother in Law and I shall sell the Bernette B38. It is like new, so someone hopefully will love it.

how do you tell it exactly how many stitches? like if i want a 2 inch line with only 1 stitch on each end.. how do i do that?
