Sorry for the question but why did you rinse your plate before putting them in the dishwasher isn't it enough to just clean from food, because it's kind of washing them so there's no point of having a dishwasher

How long do you keep the tap on while its hooked up? I cant find info for this anywhere. Is there a certain point that you are supposed to turn the tap off at?

Thanks for detailed video. Please advise if any risk of electric shock or fire or burns as my mother 69 years old would be using it. Also we noticed white stains on utensils after cycle complete? Any idea. Also you are usinf jet dry , is there any harmful effects of these too much chemical use as eventually kids will be easting on thonse plates.

Just bought it! Does water start draining immediately? Or does it take a while to start the draining process?

I bought mine, same thing but all black. The default timer on it is 2 hours 35 minutes, not sure why others say 1 hour 50 minutes, maybe a change since mine was manufactured only a few months ago, late May 2024. I have a ton of dishes that were dirty and piling up, like actual containers full of dirty dishes just put under the table... I know it was not a great situation. I bought this from Amazon for only $300 CAD as I caught it on a pretty decent sale, and it has been running like 3 or 4 times a day over the last week. Putting all sorts of things in this, even plastic that a lot of people say not to, but doesn't seem to hurt the plastic. I am still not 100% sure what all the settings do, but I mainly use the default 2 hours 35 minutes with Finish Powerball tabs and Finish Jet Dry. I picked this brand simply because it isn't expensive and these tabs are meant for full sized dishwashers, but can be cut in half and work perfectly fine in one of these dishwashers, unless I am washing really old dirty dishes that I want to come clean in every sense, and run then on a longer cycle like close to 3 hours. Normal dirty dishes, stuff just dirtied and not dried or cooked on, the eco mode on express, so only 1 hour, things come clean every time unless it is egg, in which you need at least 1 hour 30 minutes or more, super stubborn stuff. I too only just put things in where they fit, can't be bothered to learn an order or whatever, I just know the water spray needs to be able to hit the surfaces I want cleaned, and place them to where everything gets access to the spray and not be blocked. Now I have a mountain of clean dishes laying around and slowly figuring out where to put everything, and might have to downsize a little.

So you absolutely need the faucet water hooked up? Are the smaller versions newer than this? The smaller ones seem more portable and look like you just pour water inside instead of hooking up hoses

I got my roti maker from Pakistan. I use it for samosa. I make 2 at a time with oil in between. I think it is more beneficial for that. I make 100 roti in 15 mins !
