How to unlock Bands on Anytone AT-778UV & Retevis RT-95
Переглядів 43 тис.4 роки тому
I have not tried on all radios but here is a list of radios it may also work on: Anytone AT-778UV, Retevis rt-95, CRT Micron SR-94HPC Midland DBR2500
Does this "unlock" allow you to transmit on CB 476 477mhz here in Aus? Does anyone know? Thanks
I'm wondering the same thing.👍🇦🇺
I live in ct, is that the correct mode for my area ? Thanks.
Can this radio be plugged into the Vehicle Cigarette Lighter Outlet?
Just got the AT-778UV II in, and can confirm this still works. Mine actually arrived in test mode 2 (fully unlocked).
In mode 2, what are the vhf and UHF frequency ranges?. Thank you 🙂
Sorry didn't watch video. I have 2 Retevis rt95 branded version of this radio and just clicked on the video to hit like. It's some sort of auto response when I see my radios on yt lol
i cant get anything on it picks up chanel but no talking
Does it work with the Anytone AT-778UV II?
Would also like to know this! Anyone?
Is this like uv 5r an can use gmrs channels?
Great video, thank you so much. I recently got one of this radios. Do you know where can I find the frequencies base on each "modes" number?
Great video. To the point. I love it.
Thankyou, here in Canada came in European mode and was so disappointed until i found this vid- yay!!
Which mode do you need for GMRS
Does that allow you to Tx and Rx on all available frequencies?
yes, CHiRP up your channels and you are good to go
Can you use it for pmr 446 when unlocked?
Mode 2 is 400-490MHz so yes but it will be illegal for transmitting as this device doesn't meet PMR 446 legal requirements. For receiving it will be legal if you have HAM license. If you don't have HAM license then this entire device is illegal to use in many countries (for example in Poland, including listening only). Mode 1 and 3 is up to 440MHz.
good evening, the device can also measure capacitors in the circuit, thank you very much
does it have Crossband option?
So it can be use inPMR channels?!
Hi, can i monitor airband with this radio ? thank you
This radio is available now (July 2021) from various sources as: Anytone AT-778UV, Retevis RT-95, CRT Micron UV and Midland DBR2500. Some arrive "Unlocked" for the North American Band plan; some do not. There are a few YT videos describing how to handle that. I think all of these sources offer the Owner's Manual and the Programming Software as a free download now. There is now a Ver. 2 and a Ver. 3 and you need to know if yours is the "RDW" or the "VOX" version. CHIRP works very now IF (and only IF) you select the correct version for your particular radio.
@kiwiham is this radio here above, capable of picking up trunk police scanners/radios who operate on low frequencies? Also can this device pickup cellular frequency?? Thanks
@kiwiham
Hi mate, what type of power supply do you use?
Power Tech NO:MP3089, 40amps 13.8v powers all the radios and portable chargers.
@@kiwiham4162 Thanks for reply man. If I use a 12v power supply would the power be lacking?
@@sangalanga9593 Yeah mate good as gold, Amps is important how many amps is it?
@@kiwiham4162 still waiting for reply from supplier. I think it's 4-5amps. Hows the Rt95 going? I'm deciding between this is the anytone, which looks the same.
@@sangalanga9593 It is a good price and good performance, 4-5 amps would be pushing it I would got with 10 to be safe, the radio is 5 amps max.
What else can you do in "Test mode" ? I cant find anything in the manual.. I just ordered this radio and I'm trying to learn as much as I can before it arrives.. Thanks for this mate !
do you know if this radio is capable of using CB channels? 27 MHz band? that's the band we use here in Canada. Not sure if it the same from where you are.
This is a VHF/UHF Radio so doesn't do the 27Mhz band
No not this model, there are others that use the same body but different board. They can do 27mhz.
Uhhhhh...no.
That’s say n night
I own this radio i also wanted something good for the 10 and 11 meter. I bought the Stryker SR-94HPC 10 Meter Radio. It looks just like this radio you can see from videos on UA-cam its easy to open the frequency up from 10 meter to both 10 and 11 meter by clipping a little white wire. On cb i have a dead key of 10 watts swings to 45 watts. Hope this helps
on the at-779uv hold the v/m key when turning the unit on.
can the Retevis RT-90 be unlocked ?
