    Excellent episode, yet I need clarification. When would a solid pricing analysis make sense, and when would we say, "screw it, our brand can justify our pricing" for SaaS. This may be different for the SaaS world, but how can the brand matter when trying to find message-market fit as a startup (PMF was validated by Oyster competitors)? Isn't brand something that comes after/later? (Sincere question, as I understand branding as something intangible that people associate with you in the long run).

      I just finished watching the Mark Cuban masterclass and your question about Brand tracks exactly with what he said. Your brand doesn't mean much to folks when you're a startup unless your company is founded by big names, but even then, it's the brand of those names vs. the startup company. Because TRUST is what makes your brand worth anything, and that can only be built through time.
