Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Dr. Mayank Tripathi, Surgical Oncologist, Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya Cancer Centre & Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital says every year October is observed as "Breast Cancer Awareness Month." this is an annual campaign to raise awareness regarding this disease, its symptoms, cause and available treatment. The disease can be totally cured if detected at the early stage.

पिछले 8 दशकों से टाटा स्मारक केंद्र कैंसर की रोकथाम व उपचार में देश में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा रहा है। देश में कैंसर मरीजों की बढ़ती संख्या और उन्हें उनके घर के पास इलाज उपलब्ध कराने के लिए माननीय प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी की पहल पर वाराणसी में दो कैंसर अस्पतालों, महामना पंडित मदन मोहन मालवीय कैंसर केंद्र एवं होमी भाभा कैंसर अस्पताल की शुरुआत की गई है।
