Ah yes evil Scotland a nation feared by the rest so evil in ww2 they joined against Germany because they couldn’t let them be more eviler then evil Scotland
Pretty sure those places you mentioned are relics from the days of steam and used to be tiny communities built only to serve the railway, they would have been to supply water, coal and possibly perishable food. There would have also possibly have been a signalman? Not sure of actual name that would have been in charge of the key to the line before electronic signalling was a thing
Ah but the names have an importance place in Australian history. Why?
@TheAncientGamer-w6h couldn't really tell you that one, I'd have to do some research, there's a possibility they were named that way purely to pay homage to our history
When the Trans-Australian Railway was completed in 1917 from Kalgoorlie to Port Augusta, about 50 settlements of various sizes were established along the line, from which maintenance workers kept the track in operational condition. They and their families led an isolated life, although they were supplied with provisions by a weekly special train, which also provided banking and postal facilities.[1] Passenger trains were hauled by steam locomotives, which needed to take on water at various stopping places. The 1930s to 1940s services required regular stops on the traverse.
Nineteen stations on the Trans-Australian Railway were named after people: ten after former prime ministers, two after Australian governors-general, two after British earls, two after federal ministers, one after a prominent worker in Aboriginal welfare, one after a premier of Western Australia. and one after a Western Australian doctor. At almost all of the localities, other than Port Augusta and Kalgoorlie, station buildings and most infrastructure was dismantled in the 1990s.[8]: 1676 Most of these sites are inaccessible by public roads; a few have short airstrips nearby.
@matthewhaywood7411 did you google?
Still fighting on through the empty wasteland of central Australia. Have you noticed that you are 50 years on since the start. High time that all your old rolling stock was replaced methinks. Hard to do though when there are no newer trains.
I wanna get the maglev mod! 600 km per hour! but the track is so expensive!

i want to give u some tips, here you go: first things first, focus on getting an ally. The AI focuses on it which makes it pretty hard to get one later. . 28:50 you don't need to take all of them over, u just need the % text on the bottom right to be yellow (you can hear it too). continuing the war doesn't give you any warscore too. . 32:53 if you are wondering why they didn't join, it's simply because of the fact that when you are in the "call allies" menu you have to click their name first, then confirm . focus on economy buildings, not just resource buildings. resource buildings are really good but also make sure to make farms, workshops, factiories, etc. . i also recommend (if you can afford it) to build libraries immidiately so you get more research faster.
Thanks mate. Any tips are greatly appreciated.
maybe not the best, but deserves more views.
Thanks mate.
The overlander doesn't run though ararat or ballarat, it runs through gerringhap, around through Cressy on the standard gauge line, pretty sure it's broad gauge to horsham, then standard gauge to Adelaide,
@matthewhaywood7411 just going by a website of Australian rails i found. It very hard to find the info. I have tried to make it authentic, but if it isn't please forgive.
@TheAncientGamer-w6h the line between Geelong and Ballarat is also typically used for the odd steamrail event I also forgot to mention, where you put the station in Ballarat, that's the new wendouree station, the big one with the yards is Ballarat, and the one closest to Melbourne is the now non existent Ballarat East station. Really enjoying these videos mate, keep up the good work 👍
@matthewhaywood7411 thank you so much for the info, and of course, for your kind words.
That isn’t parklands terminal 😂
oh bugger! There looks like parklands nearby lol
Parklands terminal is near the stadium I’m pretty sure
If u go to the Showground there is a split in the track and the left track take u to a big station that station is Adelaide parklands terminal ❤

Hi there! Sounds like you would like to sell more than just water. :) If you don´t want any tips, stop reading here. You can sell cement and planks and use the crusher to make woodchips out of logs and charcoal bags out of coal. Blueprint for the selling pallets upstairs in B-SHOP. Build a candy machine, blueprint in B-FOOD and build parts in the work bench menu. For the candy you need an ambient shelf in B-SHOP, and the ambient chassies you will find at the work bench menu -SHOP, the candy sells for 10euro and it takes NO resources, just press start and the candy comes right out. As for the seeds... plant a veggie seed and put the grown veggie in the seed generator, it will give you 9 more seeds of that sort. The planters will allow 9 seeds in each, for most of the seeds, not all. The fruit trees is only one per planter. When you harvest, use the crate to pick up 8 of them and always put the 9th in the seed generator to get new seeds. Oh, and you can sell electronic cards (sells for 40euro), cables, pipes, motors, selling shef for components in B-SHOP. It takes time to make them but it gives you so much more money, which you will need to by more blueprints for new machines for your future progress. Have fun.. Cheers.
Thank you so much for the tips! especially the candy machine and the electric cards!
The number of passengers waiting should be less than the capacity of the train. If after the train departs there are STILL several hundred pax on the platform, then you can justify another train. It gets much more complex in urban settings when line can be bringing in 100 pax, and a 2nd line is taking them away. If the 2nd line is full, then they can;t get on and get upset. Obviously the more lines going into a station the greater the complexity.
Thanks for the advice. I gotta watch some tutorials on timetabling!
Did you correct ALL of your tram tracks. I hadn't noticed before your mentioned it at the beginning of the episode, its hard to see when you are placing them so quickly. But after you mentioned it I did watch more carefully and it seemed that EVERY station was tram, and of course every time you connected the High Speed line to the station, an extra section of tram track was added too, to connect them. It may be that ALL of your stations on this map are tram stations. It shouldn't be too hard to correct, but... As regards making money, you do take a very simple apporach. Stick on enough trains to flood the line and then prune them back. It seems to work for you so far, but perhaps checking the details on particular stations or trains, running the game at a much slower pace of course, might indicate what the issue is/was.
I haven't yet, but I will. Time has not been my friend this week :-) Thank you for the continued support
Very good work on the track alignment, a few points: - Past Mangalore, the SG line from Albury/Sydney follows alongside the Broad Gauge (BG) line from Shepparton/Tocumwal. - South of Broadmeadows, the line splits off via it's own alignment towards sunshine to run through the western suburbs before meeting back up with the BG lines right before Spencer Street/ Southern Cross - The location of Spencer Street/ Southern Cross station is right on the money in regards to where the SG platforms are located, but keep in mind one of the platforms is Dual gauge so some regional services on Broad gauge can use it. I am curious if you are planning on also building branchline services and the Suburban Melbourne network to feed more passengers into the 'High-speed' line between the two cities. Then again, you are making far more money than on my saves, so you may not need it that much xD
Thank you so much for the clarification, I will fix it up. All aussie train lines are on my radar. though probably not for awhile. Thank you for watching it through :-)
All you had to do was put 1 bus stop at the hospital and 1 at the hotel. The red circles marked where they needed to placed at.
Thanks for the feedback and thanks for watching.

The one thing that you needed to do regarding the streetcars was to get rid of the old horse drawn cars, either by upgrading that first line to electric or by simply deleting the horse drawn line.
@Jules_Diplopia yeah I did this playthrpugh before and totally forgot!
This episode is going to be shorter... he says, too right, the last one was a marathon. I take it that you are going to be doing searate tracks for each Line, since quite a few of those around Sydney were running parrallel to existing ones. That makes running the trains much easier of course. But I always enjoy the complications of multiple lines sharing tracks and stations. That is one of the beauties of Nimby Rails, we can each build our network the way we want to! Great fun. Why is it not typing? You have to keep the mouse cursor in the text box whilst you type... a little annoying quirk of Nimby Rails.
Thanks for the feedback mate! What did you think of the pictures with the place names?
@@TheAncientGamer-w6h Nice little touch.
Just imagine that at one point in your life you Drove that distance. Australia is a BIG BIG place. PNG has never had a national rail network. There were a number of small industrial railways, but never anything more, at least according to my research. Applause for your dedication. On the last little bits I could hear how tired you were. Nimby Rails can be exhausting, I know.

@@TheAncientGamer-w6h Hold left shift + W to run. Build at least 5 foundries to speed up the ingot production, you will need A LOT! Ad cole instead of wood to the foundries, it will last much longer. As for the mining... you might want to fill the sphere with 20 ores each time, otherwise you will constanly run back and forth to that mine. Clear out the mine along the walls insted of the mid part for now, you will benefit from that at this point. Oh, and you can ad ores from the sphere and collect the ingots with it. Cheers
