Disney made their own MHA!...Kind of. Sky High is a movie that is about kids with superpowers who go to school and learn how to use them to be heroes…sounds familiar, right? This movie is super fun and holds up pretty nicely. Let’s take a trip down memory lane and look at this Disney Classic.

Give me a break sky high is nothing like my hero academia. It’s been years since I seen sky high, but I still remember the movie fairly well. I wouldn’t compare will to Deku because Will was never really quirkless to begin with. He was just a late bloomer.
They both still have the conflict of feeling like they are longing to be in a world where they don’t belong. They just had different coping mechanisms. Deku delved deeper into the passions of hero’s by himself while Will was expected to take up A Mantle. The only real difference is that MHA tries to show the point more of Anyone can be a Hero through the MC. Sky High has a second plot where it’s Even if your a sidekick or your abilities aren’t the best you can still be a hero, the only differences is one had more time to develop. But you can’t say “They are nothing alike” When Both have Fire Powered Emo Kid with Daddy issues that happens to be fan favorites Sky High was green lit for a few Season TV series based on Kurt Russel and a sequel movie in plans to expand upon the world and story but for unexplained reasons it was never heard from again and scrapped
@@DrippleDragon Deku was supposed to be a quirkless hero. But eventually deku got his quirk from All might. So that contradicts the whole "Anybody can be a hero"thing Will develops his both his dad's super strengths and his mom's flying ability. Those abilities would make him a hero not a sidekick. he was only a sidekick when he didn't have those abilities. And then they came out of nowhere. So what I would say both series try to make a main point but end up contradicting themselves by giving the main character random powers ups
