Norman I think you are the best orchard instructor on You tube! I live in San José del Cabo MX, my climate is similar and to yours. I grow my orchids outdoors. I have different areas to choose how much light , watering Ect. Because I grow outdoors I have a misting system. Some of my failures you have given the explanation for. Grow outdoors I will have more failures than indoor growers and I know that goes with my situation. Anyway, Thank you so much for sharing your expertise

Three of the four paphs I bought from Normans are doing excellent, new leaves and roots and are growing. The fourth variety appears to be slowly dying, it's shed the lower leaves and is rather limp, but the other 3 are doing great. Can't wait for them to shoot spikes.

My giganteas root are drying out even the moss is wet :(

The box is very nice, but please stop using Styrofoam as it is highly toxic and non-biodegradable. It is a killer for the environment and its use should be abolished completely. Thank you.

It's a pity Norman is so difficult to understand: and when I put on subtitling it's even worse, cause the machine makes the funniest words of what is said. The accent, breaking off sentences halfway, jumping from one thing to another. Very exhausting... But he knows his stuff, that's for sure

I bought a bunch of Dendrophylax lindeni in a flask a few months ago and they seem to be doing ok on my porch with new growth tips. Do you think they benefit from Spanish moss over them? Mine get direct sunlight from 8:30AM till 11:00AM. Also how often do you fertilize them? I use Maxsea in a spray bottle diluted with rain water. Mine are all growing on Green Buttonwood or Mahogany mounts. I live in the Upper Florida Keys.
