This is some of the most frightening sh!t you could ever experience! I was in my car after work one night and I thought someone was in my back seat rubbing my legs and face Trying to SA me so I started screaming for help and trying to get out of my car but every time I tried to get out the man would close the door and slap me in the face Hard AF! So I proceeded to bite the Hell out of this guy and the whole time I'm fighting he just kept rubbing my face then threw my glasses off my face so I could not see ,while slowly rubbing my legs. Every time I would try to get away he would close the door and slap me again so I'm biting this man trying to get him off me so I jumped out the window and a neighbor came to see what was going on I'm trying to explain and the whole time I was actually having a stroke there was never anyone there I have the bite marks on my other arm to prove it and hospital records that I had a case of Alien hand it's some sh!t to see and unbelievable your body can turn on you like this talk about not letting your right hand know what your left hand is doing lol . The doctor was younger and never heard of it but another Doctor came and said it's rare but can happen and showed me a video and sure thing that was it .

There's a homeless woman who comes into my workplce to order food. She pays, she always tips, she usually doesn't bother anyone, but she will flip from talking to someone who isn't there, to placing an order with me. She's very well spoken and seems to know a lot about the military and corporate dealings. Why do I think she's homeless? Because she spends the night outside my workplace and wears really battered clothes. Why do I think she's got paranoid schizophrenia? Because she's too clear and focused to be on drugs, yet she carries on very serious conversations with no one, responds like someone is taking to her, and has warned me about terrorist attacks, military officials coming to steal all our food, and accused me of cutting holes in her pants when she wasn't looking. I just treat her like any other customer and work around her quirks, but I really hope she can get some help. She seems intelligent and maybe there's medication that could help her plug back in to reality a little more.

My wife suffer from this. It’s so hard and so sad that she is suffering from this. She has an appointment today about her behavior. She has lost so much weight Right now I’m on a work trip and it’s been horrible dealing with her while I’m working attending to what I need to do. I love her so much but it’s gotten to the point I’m having PTSD and I’m yelling at her - it’s then recently I really dug into this delusion and when I read about Othello syndrome and what o have been going through and the scary moments. I miss my wife so much - she is gone and now I’m having to live off of crumbs for love. Today I even told her that I love her in spite of her delusions. I know it’s coming to a point I need her to leave.

I truly believe this happened with my bf and I am devastated because he left me calling me a whore and I never even had a conversation with any male besides family or my boss (not who he accused me of). When once my prof of psychology told us a case in which women died due to Suicide because her mother removed the poster of celeb she had whole lotta fake scenarios and affection ...I felt so bad for people like this who really need medication and if this delusional disorder converts into a crime then one should always take the help of police to save themselves from highly abnormal stalkers with low calibre to grasp what is the unreal jurisdiction of their final fantasy and where reality lies .

I'm not sure if this is the correct syndrome, but when I was a kid, sometimes when I breathed really fast and could hear myself breathing for a certain amount of time, things would seem to speed up to me. People walk faster, I walk faster, movements are quicker and more sudden. One time, this "quick phase" did happen to me when I was sick. Even the characters on the TV were moving quicker than usual. I don't experience this anymore in the adult life.

Thank you for your description. I imagine this can be extremely difficult to diagnose for clinicians. Do family members usually realize something is wrong and speak with clinicians? My mother has late onset alcoholism and is now 61, she’s been drinking heavily for 10 years. Lately, there’s been a few “memories” she’s brought up that haven’t happened but she looks at me like I am crazy. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Until the so called professionals and Governments accept that it is NOT Mental Health that causes someone to commit suicide, then NOTHING will ever change. Yes many if not most have Mental Health issues but there is always an underlying cause that makes someone kill themselves but this is NEVER looked into or is covered up. I know for a fact that in Falkirk, Scotland that one major cause is the way in which men are treated the likes of Falkirk Council plays a major part in how men snap and take their lives. Homophobia another major cause and again in Falkirk the Council turns a blind eye to it and actually enables it as it is "not their problem" despite that 9 times out of 10, the Hate Crimes come from Council Tenants. Falkirk Police no better, yes their might be a local LGBT police liaison officer but they do not work 24/7 AND not all the police support the LGBTQia Community, sadly in Falkirk that tends to be female officers more so than men, but not always. In short learn to listen to people and their issues.ESPECIALLY men, most times they will ask once help and if that does not to well, they will NEVER ask again. There is also still Major Distrust with gay men and police, esp again Falkirk. The trust is even worse with Falkirk Council. Just want to point out, the highest area with Suicides in England was the North East at 12.8, Wales 12.5, yet the national average for Scotland in 2022 was 13.9 with the majority of Scotland Councils each sitting above that of North East England and in Wales. Just like in Scotland the so called professionals refuse to listen, possibly because these real state would expose the Governments and Councils, the same ones who find the so called professionals. It is gross malpractice the fact they won't listen and therefore REFUSE to really do anything to reduce suicide levels.

My brother has this from alcohol abuse. He’s in a full time care facility. Whet ever he is reading, becomes his life. What ever he dreams becomes his life. When he awakens, he has no idea where he is, why he’s there and why everyone knows him with familiarity. He is terrified every single day. He calls me several times a week for the past 10 years and I lie. I explain what’s happened, he listens, he asks questions and inevitably asks “am I getting better? If I’m getting better I can do this”. And I tell him, you’re better today than yesterday. He’s got the personality, humor and intelligence of my brother, if you didn’t know it, you wouldn’t know anything was wrong. I wouldn’t wish this on my enemy. One interesting aspect is, he remembers people in his past, even those he disliked but now, he doesn’t dislike them. He speaks of those people fondly. It’s really odd.

i had a weird hallucination type thing happen to me in class today. i thought i smelled a skunk? i was super confused after it went away after a few seconds. i am taking it for narcolepsy. should i be concerned?

I was a child raised with two parents who somewhere in time developed this and it genuinely sucks-my entire life up until 18 was smothered in “squalor” basically so I really appreciate this video because I’ve learned to unlearn those habits and I tend to help my folks as well. Diogenes Syndrome really needs to have some deeper more intense research done to it.
