@@bemycola the point was that some of us hoped itd be something mind blowing again, we didnt want a switch 2 but its understandable, thats why in the end im like its all good but i hope they dont make a switch 3 but something different, we only speculated on a switch 2 but now its basically confirmed that it is in fact a "switch 2"

You have to consider that fact that the og 3ds to new 3ds is the same generation (same for the base switch to oled switch) and the SNES innovated on mainly graphics because it was their SECOND console its not like people had already seen major hardware improvements before in gaming (and the controller was a huge improvement with x/y and shoulder buttons). As for the Switch 2, its supposed to be that major jump in capabilities like DS to 3DS or Wii to Wii U, not the minor optimizations you're talking about that happen between 2 to 5 years.

Ps1, ps2, ps3, ps4, ps5 whats the difference besides upgrading the hardware? 👀 n64, gamecube, wii, wii u, gameboy, ds, 3ds, Nintendo switch. U see the difference? :) the point was we didnt know for sure it was a switch 2, and this confirmed thats all it is, a switch 2. some of us thought it was gonna be a completely different thing not just an upgrade on the switch

@@xsugarx.3.452 if this didnt work u probably need to either update ur drivers and epic drivers manually online, or reinstall it and make sure when u delete it, u delete everything from ur internal memory, its also on android if nothing works, its so stupid ik.

@@SpoonTaco did you dip the thumb tack in black and go over the blue, I’m trying to make my own custom and that’s actually pretty smart

@@Babyperson273 no so i paint the face all black, and with a led pencil, i lightly draw the cricles where his eyes should be and make sure its good circles, after i lightly brush a top coat of black over so it hardly shows, then i start using the tack to dot the blue

@@Craigy2818 so u kinda just have to try to understand how the devs were trying to make the game look and feel but limited to a 2d sense, and transform it back to 3d. A perfect example is the legend of zelda a link between worlds, it takes inspiration from a link to the past or even the new links awakening

@@SpoonTaco Yeah, I get those more (though, ALBW is awkward because everything is stretched backward 🙈) but there are times when you see that the top of a field is on the same plane as a ledge but you can see the slope via the side of that but where does it end? How much is the hill and where does it stop? It's so difficult, without some sort of visual clues in the texturing of the ground.

@@Imdumnproduction im currently testing out whats the best and easiest 3d print would be good for this project and be much more easier for u guys, after i test it im going to put the 3d print base on etsy for 1-3$ and u guys can make ur own if u dont have a printer, i think i finally made the best base and planning to release it soon, ill let u know when i do

they did in fact get rid of fhe bezels. The rp2s was 3.5" but it was actually smaller (2.75" i measured) because they included the bezels in the measurement, this is a way bigger screen than that one being at a 3.7" with no bezels, and the reason they probably didnt make the screen a 4.0" even tho its literally just .3" 💀 is because of the mic placement. If they didnt round the edges they could fit it on the corner like before. But why is .3" such a big deal. The bezels i understand why it was bad but now its gone. U said that they just made it one? Idk what u mean? But the black border around the screen is gone so that means screen bigger

@@SpoonTaco the black border or bezel is nothing more than a lens over the screen. All they did was go from an easy to manufacture standard lens that only goes over the screen and adds a border to hide the driver board to a harder to manufacture custom lens that covers the entire face of the device, which is why the face of the device has a glossy finish. Technically speaking, almost all displays have bezels, but when a manufacturer says there is no bezel what they generally mean is that the bezel is so small there may as well not be one (such as with most modern phones since the iPhone X) but in the case of the Pocket Mini there is still a lot of distance between the display and the edge of the bezel, so it's misleading to say they got rid of the bezel. If they made the device a bit wider I actually think they could've gone with a display a bit larger than 4 inches to get the bezel small enough to say that it's a bezel-less design though. As for the mic, those modules are so small that they could really put it anywhere on the face of the device, but while I do agree that the screen corner is the best place they could've put it, with how few consoles really use the mic I don't think anyone would've complained if they removed the mic to put a larger display in (you'd really only lose Hey You Pikachu and some of the Mario 64 DS mini games that, realistically, aren't very playable on a single display of that size)

​@@PercyPanleo the point is, u can hardly see any bezels, ofc its gonna be there but, u cant tell me it looks as big as switch or rp2 bezels or gameboy bezels. its hardly there which is what people wanted, me idc i never cared, if i did id get something else. I guess because i had a poor upbringing but i just dont see why .3" is such a big deal, and ur not wrong about the mic, u can even use headphones if u need too that has it built in. And for the resolution it was always 780p and ik because i screen record on the rp2s and now its going to be 1080p which is nice, i still dont mind 780, and you'd be surprised as to how many people want 2k-4k even tho its a small device that a 4" wouldnt even matter. However yeah i do agree they could probably just have fit the 4" easily, im just glad its powerful enough to play ps2,gamecube and wii at native resolution.

On paper they are very similar, but the snapdragon is more optimized for emulation.

@@Watamel0n it honestly depends on how the console handels it too, because some devices get better use out of the same chip than others, hopefully they make updates to better it tho

@@SpoonTaco Yeah, that's also true. Ultimately we will only know, after the first reviews, but honestly, I can't imagine, the rp5 will be less powerful than the rp4pro. That would be a big hit on their reputation :D I guess they knew why they choose this chip and had a specific configuration as a whole in mind. Especially the snapdragon chipsets will benefit a lot from an active cooling mechanism. Also, I remember a video from Takiudon on the Odin Pro 1 with the Adreno 630, which almost surpassed 2 generations, just because of the active cooling mechanism. Let's see what retroid can do with the Adreno 650 ^^
