I've spent quite a bit of time learning and referencing the Greek text. I use Strong's Concordance since it is a time tested reference source and the KJV with the Textus Receptus and the Septuagint (without getting into "Luddite" discussions about modern vs. KJV translations). I'm mostly learning the Greek text more than studying "books", or revelatory subjects, etc.. I haven't come to any hard and fast conclusions about my findings because I have a lot more to learn. But just studying Greek/English words, the KJV has some what I would consider significant deviations from the Textus Receptus. Since I have a lot to learn I'm not jumping to any conclusions, but I am pretty shocked with what I've discovered so far. Some of the deviations from Greek to English are inevitable since translating Ancient Greek to English can never be exact. But some of the deviations are simply inexcusable in my opinion. The translators could have just left words alone in the Greek and translated them as they were but chose to change them.
