I wonder why they were fine with picking a man along with a woman for this show but whose line anyways goes for woman besides one or two times

I *LOVED* “The Drew Carey Show” for the quick-witted comedy, the offbeat characters, the feud between Drew and Mimi, and ESPECIALLY the dance numbers! I miss the whole gang!

Only saw this opening in 2 01 and season 4.

Wonder why they only used this fantastic opening for Season 2?

It's not hard to see why this was short lived.

The animation really distracts from the improv scene going on. It undercuts what the performers are doing by assuming what they're doing isn't funny enough so they animate in a guy's pants falling down. Top notch stuff.

Though, the reindeer and the elf were pretty funny! And death's unhappy face on a stick!!

I like whose line better, it lets you use your imagination!!! This show is for people with no imagination...

OK... the one I am wanting was a synchronized pieced that they did for the opening on only one episode... where everyone was walking through Drew's office, apparently going about their daily business, but it repeated... It ended with Drew being the only person to apparently realize that they were doing this, and changed his own moves so as to pranks Mimi. Has anyone else seen this or know where to find it?

might be Karen Gabay - I did a search and she is a ballet dancer - several of them appeared in this and other Drew Carey musical numbers.

me too - always keeps my attention when I'm watching this. I think his name is Raymond Rodriguez - and he's a ballet dancer.

These guys are talented enough at improv that they don't need the animation. I just don't see what it added

as a kid i used to think this intro was so corny but now that ive experienced what its like to be part of the ''work force'' i have a new appreciation and enjoying of it! i used to request this song everytime i called a radio station and pray id hear it during the work day but no =(

@Junypro My understanding is that it was taken off the air because the animations were too expensive to create.

I love this show, WHY WAS IT TAKEN OF THE AIR? Drew Carrey's team is the best. Society needs mores shows like this one on TV. So original!!!
