Wow, that truck is for sure a Cali lifetime original truck that has never been painted. You can see the layers of paint down to the sheet metal. So F'n cool. Great find. You and I are quite the same. I was born in 64 and my first car was a 72 beetle. I have had one ever since and today own a 56, 65 and a 69 long travel baja. I build my own engines and paint my own cars. the 56 has a 2165, k10 cam, 48s and heads hand ported in the 80s by Dick Neuss. He and Berg were buddies. I just installed some CMI Billet 1.5 ratio roller rockers for it and I highly recommend them. Amazing piece of work and seat of the pants power increase to 7500 rpm. You know the deal! Keep the vids coming, you are doing great. More in car full throttle rips. can't get enough. If you remember, can you reply with the gear ratios of each gear and ring and pinion on the orange bug? It sounds like it is geared perfectly.
