Just saw someone covering this on a PBS tribute to Bruce Spingsteen's Nebraska. Swore I heard it before and had to crack open the mental rolodex from decades ago to figure out who I heard singing it. Figured it had to be the Crows! But I had/have a clearer version of it.

Smith-Corona is the only thing makes any sense. First of all Warren was a song writer. So the typewriter fits. Second: if you’re a junkie and you’re kickin’, most likely you’re going need that Smith & Wesson to rob someone. Pawning it only gets you one fix.

This is a great version of this masterpiece. It sounds a little different from the one Duritz released solo, at least I think he did one on his own.

Tonite I discovered this fabulous cover of Carmelita. This version is the best Timeless and hauntingly beautiful.

This may be from Kalamazoo, MI back in 2000. It was a show I saw, Adam introduced the song as one they had never played live before. They had recorded it for a tribute to the Nebraska album but I don't think it ever got released.
