yep, because I'm dumb. I fixed it.

I had planned to publish a tutorial series anyway, but I've been concentrating on other things and my weekly schedule is quite full with personal stuff and my job, so unfortunately I couldn't pursue it any further.

Well, little bit sadistic but it sounds funny xD.

Watch the first timelapse and you can see so many improvements. It's just training and doin' more and more maps:) so trust in yourself ^^

It's the Trace Image tool in Dungeondraft, which you can find in the register "Settings" on the left side.

I really appreciate that, unfortunately I don't have any of the adventures and therefore a realization is not possible, I'm sorry ...

@@RacoozesPenPaperWorld Sad :( Since you've already done Strahd, I was hoping that other adventures could be created too. :(

@@tocadohawke Perhaps a solution will be found in the future. But for now, there was a survey with the PF2E Adventure Paths and it will end in less than half an hour. Maybe I'll get one or two books together by then. Let's see what the future brings ^^

@RacoozesPenPaperWorld thank you so much for the super fast response. I LOVE THAT you offer the map, but I'm not really interested in it to use. I am however very interested in how to add the texture paths to my own custom assets for my DungeonDraft..

Well, there you go on their Patreon patreon.com/forgottenadventures On their website you only get the free package which is very limited, through Patreon for 5€/creation (or as you define it when signing up for the membership) you can then get the 3.0 or 3.5 integration which contains everything, i.e. current textures, objects, etc.. And then you simply unzip it into your assets folder in Dungeondraft and activate it there.

I took the token of some demon, then some textures, magic in photoshop and thats it :) so they're "kinda" selfmade.

My map had the idea for a witch, not heg, who lives there because the tree was almost dead and she got the power to reawaken the tree. And at the end she's hiding the entrance to the ... darklands/underdark what ever ttrpg you're playing :D

I'm not talented enough for that stuff in foundry. I know some modules which are doin' it pretty good and easy to import all these maps. But yeah I will add the extra info in the future.

yeah if some people notice it faster than reading description hehe :D. Yeah i read that too. I mean i have no problems with the old 3.0 DD Integration, but if it's faster, why not ^^. and yeah I'm one of the lucky boys who just pays 3 bucks for it but it is.... or was (at the end you can choose) 3 bucks per creation, not month, but maybe because of this other situation right now they changed it. I dunno. :) But at the end I can tell, I've to pay a more because of the commercial license. I never used CC+3 hust wonderdraft, dungeondraft and because i suck at region/world maps sometimes i use Inkarnate... which doesn't increase the quality of that kind of maps but yeah why not XD

I've 64Gbyte of RAM so... yeah... kinda war machine ^^

This map wasn't that special and in hindsight I admit, not a great piece of work, but I think it will serve its purpose ^^. It took me about 2 1/2 hours to complete the map. But that varies depending on the details, especially caves go faster than the building interior or forests/swamps. With my own maps, I have to say that I just work on them as they pop into my head. So more YODO fashion as you call it ^^. But in some cases I make something like sketches, but they are really just orientation, nothing more :D

Not Sponsored: Forgotten Adventures. Huge library of assets and it's growing, has a large team behind it. DD Assets are available for low money on their patreon site (Link in description) but if you work with other stuff like Photoshop or Clip studio i think you can get everything for free. I know that other assets are available but most of them are not my taste or not correct license (especially with just low amount of scifi assets...)

Thank you and I'm glad that everything is helping you to learn :) Unfortunately it will be rather difficult with sci-fi, as most licenses don't allow it or it doesn't suit my personal taste. I would probably have to work very hard with “Forgotten Adventure Assets” to put something together on my own. So I can't make any promises.

@@eaglewing9513 I had to think about what you meant for a moment. The “trace images” are originally from the PDF and I extracted them from it with the help of a tool and then quadrupled the resolution so that it works properly in Dungeondraft.

Next time. Maybe this will be my first... saloon brawl :D

Thank you very much. And perhaps in the future. Strength of Thousands offers little room for maneuver, and the self-created maps will soon include a different setting. But it doesn't really get cold there :)

depends on size and levels. Some are only 30 minutes, other 10 hours. This one took me an hour.
