That Shark looks WAY too Happy!!!!!!!!!!!👍👍👍👍
I like the plane design, still struggling to make my own design that works.
Looks really fun!🙃
Great rucksack model.
Great little planes and look-a-like 'electric' cox engines. Do you supply to the UK please?
Yes we do
Considering you covered it in sky blue I'm impressed as heck with your piloting skillz none of my model's are blue because I can't see them in the air.
It's transparent blue, so it shows up pretty well when the sun is shining 😄
That is a beauty... I would bet you've got one heck of an aerobatic slope glider if you built it without a motor. If my budget will allow I might just build one of these.. good luck and great work.
That would be cool
Nice job! Looks like it will give the GLH-250 a run for it's money 🙂
Yes it will
Great plane! Think it's needs a cox 020🙂
I'll see you all tomorrow!!!!!
Awesome display!
Bless his Heart. I would have fell over from being DIZZY.
Did you guys ever bring that pod out for sale. I would love one.
My first rc plane years ago. Kamikazied it into a school roof. A young man got the pieces and radio stuff back and went on from there !
Where’s part 2?
Great video and flying. Love control line planes 🙂
Think I'll need to buy one 🙂
Well done lads, the racer style is a good direction *can pylon race: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_racing_aircraft
That's the nicest looking one I've seen so far!
It was pretty sweet!
Always fun to look at your videos 🙂
Glad you like them!
All the stunts were right after the launch :) ,yes, great glide!
Awesome!
Great looking flying wing🙃
very cool
I can’t wait to get one of these!!!
Is the Hot Canary kit @1:20 available?
Not yet, but hopefully soon. :-)
Looks Like a winner !! Can’t wait to get mine done
The Sky Tiger is so cool looking! Can’t wait to get one!
I just found out about your models! All my favorite Goldberg kits scaled to the perfect size! I can’t believe it! Thanks!
excellent setup!
Thanks!
Love it! Looks like a fund time, thanks for sharing!
It was!
candy box,,mmmm
Ha! :-)
Becky give me the candy box,!!!
Come get a piece of candy!
big fan of your airplanes!!! I wish I could have been there I would have grabbed a ton at those show specials!
You should make plans to attend next year!
Awesome! Liked and subscribed!
I'm looking at your models. Do you fly any with the cox engine?
Yes, almost all of them are designed for cox or electric.
Yeeeee haaaaaaaaa !
I like it. Mine shipped today !!! I just remembered I did not order a motor. Will the 1806-2280 from my Delta 250 work ?
Yes
Looks like another winner, Doug. Would this be a good choice for slowing down and flying lazy circuits and figure eights on a calm evening ? I mean if I was looking for a lazy floater ?
We really appreciate these build videos Doug. I know you are busy with your day job but I hope you can find time to make these for each of your models. I'm learning but hope to build each one.
More to come!
Just starting to build my Delta 250 this evening. Nice kit and I really appreciate these two build videos as I'm a novice builder. Please keep them coming for your other models... I have a Jr. Skylark and Pee Wee 250 on order.
Looks great. I have this kit and recommended power set scheduled next for the building board. I'm not much for speed anymore, I would rather keep things up close and on the slower side, so I try to save weight where possible. Has anyone tried 2 cells with a larger prop instead of 3 cells ?
2 cell setup with 6x4 prop works very well. You'll loose alot of speed and will not have unlimited vertical, but will still fly nicely!
would you share the file that you used to cut that? i would love to do a jr skylark. my father had a lot of carl goldberg rc planes when i was very young.
Our cut files are proprietary.
Great flight, thanks for sharing.
Curled mah toes at :45 seconds in! Sheesh!!
A word of warning for others building this. I was supplied with the blind nuts but they were very poorly made and had lots of metal curled shavings stuck inside the nut. I was able to clear them out but still one of the nuts would not take a screw and bound up on me to the point that it just blew out my firewall. That firewall is very fragile to begin with so I'm just warning you. I had a lot of issues with using the peewee motor mount that I bought as an option. The holes wouldn't line up on the firewall blind nuts and I ended up having to drill out the holes one size bigger to have enough wiggle room to get the motor mount on. Since there was only the four blind nuts and screws, I was forced to find another suitable substitute screw and regular nut. I don't have any of those super small blind nuts laying around. I have never had problems with blind nuts before so I don't know where you got these from but they were horrible in quality. Not sure how I'm going to connect those JST power connectors. It looks like it requires a special crimper that I don't have. Update: Well it appears I had one of those JST crimpers in my collection of tools after all.
So cool..Now make me my Gentle Lady 250 please! ;)
After all that work assembling the pod, a folding prop would only seem to be right on there. I had a similar pod on my full size GL with a COX 049 on it. No folding prop either. Had to build a small plinth on top of the wing, with 4 pieces of coat hanger sticking up to locate the pod, then held in place by the wing rubber bands. Looking VERY forward to these planes being back in stock, as I wanna build one in the worst way! A special, near and dear to me plane. First plane I ever flew successfully, and repeatedly! lol And this time, with experience gained in the hobby over the years, wanna do that cool covering job too!
The CG GL was the first plane I'd ever built and flown successfully. That was almost 30 years ago. Now older, and busted up, these smaller planes rekindle my desire to build! Been forever, but that little GL is beautiful! Fantastic covering job as well.
What did you use for CG
