「Gの祈り」シングルバージョン (UPされている本曲) はどういう訳か 「岡林信康さんのアルバム」 に長らく未収録 (それ迄はLIVEバージョンのみ) !! が 「服部半蔵 影の軍団」本放送(80年) 前年にリリース 「街はステキなカーニバル」 の 「2017年発売分紙ジャケCD版」 (現在も入手可能) のボーナストラック扱い で遂に収録が果たされた!! 因みに当時の 「Gの祈り」シングル のB面には 「街はステキなカーニバル」 から 「君に捧げるラブソング」 がシングルカットされて収録 (「番組」でも何度か挿入歌として流れた。Wikipediaに曲に纏わる逸話が紹介されている)。
何故か、一日の終わりの方で、聞いてしまいます。

自分もずっと謎でしたが、確かこの歌のギターの最初のコードがGで始まるから、と聞いた事があります。間違えていたら申し訳ありません。それにしても、心に滲みる名曲ですね。
個人的な推察だけど、Ｇ＝GODつまり神への祈りというのも含まれるのではないでしょうか。”凍てついた空に届くだろう、熱い想いの熱さ”という歌詞からもそのように感じられます。

If anyone ever recorded this from tv way back when, the lyrics from g no inori were displayed in episode 26 during the ending credits of that epsisode. I used to have that video a long time ago and have no idea what happened to it. I have been searching for those lyrics ever since with no luck.

My grandfather had me record these every friday night at 11 pm and he would come at 3 am and watch it on his lunch break. He passed last august and almost a year has gone by. I miss watching Hanzo, Hyouruku, and Daihachi. Season 1 was the best, and Prayer of G was by far the best theme song.
