Things you should know BEFORE starting your Loc Journey!!
Do you use a 3 point loc rotation?
@@kelishamay5544 I use a 2-point rotation.
Your locs are pretty 😻. They remind me of my micro locs. Very choppy and different sizes. I'm currently 11 months. I'm going to follow your journey 😁
@@Come7yNatura7 Thank you!! Yes, very choppy but I love it❤️ Awesome 🙂 Thanks for watching!!
😂 Braylon!..The hair is looking good Niff! ❤
@@Shawndasjustvisiting Thank you!!! He’s hilarious 🤣
I’m 7 years old Mom! Loved that 😂 nice update 😊🇬🇧
@@dionehowell8687 Like he’s correcting me from NOT being a child 😂 Thanks for watching!!!
Thanks for the honest review! Other reviews mentioned that hair mask issue and how hard it was to get out. I'll put the mask straight in the bin.
@@Heavenseventeen You’re welcome, I know products don’t work the same on everyone’s hair, but if you’ve heard others say it as well then definitely 🗑️ it. Lol
They are coming along!!
I do this. Leave it overnight, last just about 7 days
How does it stay on overnight
@fcra1952 I do it a few hrs before I go to bed that way it's dry. It won't go anywhere unless you sleep on your face lol
I'm doing this today I'm hoping I don't get an allergic reaction and have my face blown 😅 but I have thin and non existent eyebrows
@@blissessentials524 I hope it works out for you 🙂
@@tiffynikky thanks! I haven't started yet..a guy I'm talking to suddenly stopped texting, it's been like 3 days so I'm holding off on the eyebrows for now. I'm soooo over dating 🙄
@@blissessentials524 Aww you shouldn’t hold it off for someone else. Do it for yourself 🙂
this is exactly how I domino and her hair texture is very similar to mine
So simple to understand the three point rotation. Thank you!
@@wendymartinez6097 You’re welcome!! Thanks for watching🙂
They look great! Was looking for a demo with darker brows and this was super helpful!
@@maeinjune Awesome!! Glad I could help🙂
Aww my little sister💕 excellent loc progress love it!!
@@Toyay.B 🙂 Thanks!
I love this!! Your mehtod is so much easier. I have alot of unraveling and I cant see myself paying someone $300 dollars to do this. Thanks for sharing.
@@botanicalbae1457 Definitely save your money please🙂 Thank you so much for watching!!!
I got so excited when I was watching you with the intensity of 1,000 suns as I retied and I could feel the Y when I ended down! I'm sure I'm doing something wrong and I'm going to mess it up. But I won't learn without it. Thank you for this video!
@@ChesireWaltz Thank you for watching!! One cool thing is if you mess it up and create holes in your locs, it’s definitely fixable so no worries 🙂
@@tiffynikky Oh yeah I already had to fix one... Think I did... We'll figure this out with time and hopefully not too many casualties haha
@@ChesireWaltz We will definitely figure it out. This is a learning journey 🙂
Beautiful 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹 i cant wait till mines bud i started july 10 my wash day is august 3 this my 5 th loc journey this is it i comb my four year locs out due to color damage please never put color in your hair dark black locs are beautiful 🌹
@@EbonyGray-ve7jg Thank you! And I hope you have an awesome loc journey!!! I will definitely keep that in mind🙂
What do you mean you had breakage because of the hair colour?
my locs are 30 years old now. my new growth was not locking. I used your method and new growth tamed.
@@Veronica-678 Yay, awesome! I’m glad I could help. Thank you for watching🙂
Loving the journey!!
@@owensyani Thank you!
You made this so much easier. Thank you ❤
@@eyvettewalker6551 it’s definitely easier than you think🙂 Thanks for watching!
Thank you sooooooooooo much for this!!!! I have found this to very a very much easier method of my 2 youngest daughters and I. My youngest daughter’s have locs, with the re twisting it doesn’t seem to loc a well as I think it should it unravels after a month and a half. But this is so easy, don’t have to use many products, it’s isn’t tight on their head they love it and I love the finish look it looks absolutely gorgeous. Thank you for making this video
@@keylowlow5668 You’re very welcome! Thanks so much for watching 🙂
I will be getting my hair interlocked next week. I am new to locks was nervous about the whole ordeal until I saw this video. Thanks for sharing!🌺
Aww I’m glad you’re able to see that you can definitely do it and it’s not as hard as it seems🙂 Thank you for watching!
dm?
coming along very nice.
Nice locs how many do you have.
I have about 260, thank you🙂
Aww she’s so chill! Is she always so chill?! Our 8 year old is scheduled in 3 weeks and I’m so scared. So good to see a positive outcome.❤️
She’s naturally laid back like me, but around her recovery period she was definitely more chilled. I hope your daughter has a wonderful recovery 🙏 Thank you for watching!!!
Thank you for sharing such a positive recovery experience! These other videos had me crippled with anxiety and your story helped ease my mind so much. My 8 year old son is on day 6 and has had a similar experience, thank God!! His scabs haven’t fallen off yet so I’m still nervous about that. Does your daughter remember them coming off?
Thank you so much for watching. Yay, I’m so happy his experience went well.🙂 She doesn’t remember feeling it, but I will say it should take up to about 10 days so please don’t worry!
So putting on the leave in conditioner doesn’t make the hair slip in your hands? I have to go in for my reties with completely dry hair. No product at all.
I would say no, if I’m understanding your question correctly.I’ve tried both wet/dry hair, I prefer wet or at least damped.
Thank you so much for this video. I started my journey a little over a month ago and interlocking just seemed more my speed. You did an amazing job! ❤❤❤
Thank you 🙂 Happy healthy loc journey to you!!!
❤❤❤❤
Cutie patootie at the end!!! 😂❤
Her hair looks great
Thank you!
Thank you for sharing your experience! My 6 year old daughter is having this surgery done next week and I’ve felt so sad watching other videos. This seems to be a more positive experience ❤
I felt the exact same way from other videos. I’m so happy you were able to feel hopeful during this time and I pray everything goes well with your daughter’s surgery. Only if you can, could you please let me know how everything turned out in the future? Thank you!!🙏
This is why sometimes when I go get dye for my beard. Shyt be gon. Cuz of ding bats like this smh
🤷🏽♀️
She has the exact blanket I have❤ Got it from Walmart. I think it was supposed to be Christmas themed, but I got it because it reminds me of Strawberry Shortcake 🍓
Very good video. Thanks for the info. I'm having trouble finding anything that works well and doesn't kill my locs. My hair is pretty long and my coverage usually last about 2 1/2 weeks. I get gray around my edges and a few patchy spots on my scalp. I think I'm gonna try this product. It seems to be working well for you. Thanks again. It's a little over $13 on Amazon
Thank you for watching! You should definitely check it out🙂
Hello Tiffy. Love your locs . I am one month loc and started with two strand twists. ❤
Hey 👋 Yay! I hope you have a wonderful loc journey🙂
I knew by how you placed the concealer that you were going to body this 😅😍😍
😂 Why thank you 🙂
Hi how many times during the week do you moisturize her hair thanks for the video
Hello, I hope all is well! I mist her hair with water daily. Sometimes in rare cases I’ll skip a day or so if she doesn’t leave the house.
Thanks @@tiffynikky
@@tiffynikkyHave tried Aloe Vera Juice instead of water? Its very healing to the scalp. less than $10 for a 4L jug at WalMart
@@NollyfanActually no but I may check it out, thank you!
They say it’s better to do the tail ends first so it processes much longer
Yeah that’s why I did it that way for that reason.
How can i get the hook
Hey, you can go to Amazon and type Interocking tool and it’ll pop right up. I’ve recently seen a video of someone saying they got it from their local beauty supply and picked one up for a few dollars. You may want to check there first before ordering 🙂
Love her hair ❤ You should do a grocery haul..
Thank you auntie!!
I am 22 months into my mircoloc journey and has never ever braid and band with washing even my loctition says it fine. Now I use leave in conditioner and my spray bottle with rose water and a carrying oil maybe twice a week. But yes do whatever works best for you. This is not a one size fits all. Glad you are enjoying your locs
Exactly!! Thank you for checking my videos out! I hope you have a wonderful day and healthy loc journey🙂
Hey friend I was wondering when I would see a vlog from you. Beautiful looking locs Tfs.😊
Hey, thank you so much! 🙂
How long does the box last for you until you have to re buy? ❤
I would say a couple of months because a little goes a long way. Just don’t mix a lot each session because you’ll want to discard the mixed batch every time.
@tiffynikky thank you ❤
@@mrs.potatohead8471 you’re welcome!
OMG you are telling my story. I combed out my traditional locs after 18 yrs and started DIY micro locs. I am 3 months in and I am interlocking this time. I use most of the products you mentioned and I moisturized my hair Every day with water based products. I wash my hair biweekly and no braiding and banding for me either. I am really “baby-ing” my hair, it’s really short but it is growing now. I will be glad once I get a little more length for styling purposes. I use a lot of headbands and wraps for now. Congrats on your new journey we are both coloring outside the microlocs lines.
Oh wow that’s awesome 🙂 Thank you and congrats on your journey! 18 years?? Whew, I want one be like you one day lol
Yay! Great to see you and to see your new journey! You'll love them. My daughter wanted her locs back after about 7 months of loose hair😂. I did microlocs in her hair as well, she has about 220 locs.
Aww, I’m sure it looks great! Yeah that’s about right, after that 6 month mark it was time for locs again😂. Thank you for watching!!!
Excited to see this journey! Love these types of videos to see where you came from…..Will you post every 3 months or so to show the progress?
Thank you! Every 3 months is definitely possible.
I have natural hair and I absolutely love the brand. I use the black.
What color did you used?
I believe dark brown.
