i know nothing about Guilty Gear, but when i heard Extras for the very first time at last year TGA i suddenly interest on it LOL. i'm in love with that song! too bad i don't really like fighting games..

I didn't realize Metal Slug even had a story. I thought the story was "Shake Atratzu upside down so the coins fall out of his pockets at the arcade machine".

Having finished the game with true ending myself, it's a very distinctive game. I am glad that Bokeh had chosen Hong Kong instead of Tokyo because of the latter being overly presented by Japanese studios to the point that novelty is non-existent to me. If you want to tour around the virtual Tokyo, Like a Dragon series and Tokyo Ghostwire have already done that pretty well. The gameplay definitely is "inspired" by The 3rd Birthday (TTB), but to me it is overall less frustrating because each character has their own set of skills to play with, something that TTB abandoned for absolutely no good reason. My real criticism with the combat is the window to deflect enemy attack can be bit too small and requiring to much focus for casual players to handle. As for the horror element, this can be extremely subjective, but I am immensely grateful that there is not a single jump scare moment in this game. Instead it uses the plot itself to deliver that despair to the player. Indeed this can be much better presented with full voice acting and proper modelling of non-rarity characters.

I wish they would bring back that visual novel style of story mode for Strive. The way they do things now is very lazy by comparison.

Watching this after Dizzy arrived (and their interactions) is so interesting as the two have a lot in common. The main one being left alone and looking for a place to belong.

i totally effing forgotten about this gem.. i always had a crush on the guy with the baseball cap and i loved to play the big boobed teacher/professor? lol is a series like Evil Zone should come back... not remastering or remaking a remake already...

That Steam review score does not bode well for the continued development of the game. I hope the dev is self sufficient enough to carry on, fix the issues people are complaining about and somehow get lucky to reverse that.

Have you played Dragon Ball Sparking Zero? Which characters are in your team?

This game may have a lot of issues, and most people would write this off as a kusoge But it feels like it was made for me, it's such a PS2 era feeling game with that gameplay and aesthetics, i can't help but vibe with it I wouldn't call it a particularly great game, but for a few select people like me who miss that edgy visuals and simple designs from those old days this is gonna feel very nostalgic. Reynatis is one of those games that captured the feel and aesthetics of a PS2/PSP era action Jrpg near perfectly, whether it was intentional or not They even got pre rendered cutscenes that look way better than anything in game, in general it has a lot of 2005-2008 energy Think that’s the main appeal of Reynatis, that it looks like a budget Square Enix game Verum Rex X NEO TWEWY but it plays and looks like a PS2 era action game A very specific niche but appreciate that it exists I don’t want games to chase industry trends, I want more games that would fit right in the Xbox, PS2 and GameCube days
