Pulsar 23 II Skip James - Hard Times Killing Floor Remix
The Pulsar is a fabulous machine for creating rhythms that are not just straight forward. I ended up with this abstract kind of hip hop beat and used it to remix an old time classic blues performance of Skip James Hard Times Killing Floor.

Here's a drone jam with Pulsar's bass module going through Strymon's Magneto and from 3:10 on playing together with the Subharmonicon that's not in the picture. The clock is modulated with itself to get away from playing in four. t_buchel

A little self generating patch thanks to the alternative firmware of Mutable Instruments Stages and some random cv controlling Ripples and Plaits. DFAM's velocity s controlled by the VCO 2.

The qiemem firmware for Stages is just awesome for sequencing with random control. Plaits is going into Ripples with random cv controlling the frequency. Low-pass and high-pass outs going into the stereo ins of Beads making Plaits sound stereo. DFAM and Mother-32 providing the beats, the Subharmonicon doing some spacey swells.
First try Moog DFAM with reactive visuals

This is my first tryout of the Magic Music Visuals software together with a little noisy patch on the DFAM. It's great how this program allows all kinds of settings and filters to react to the incoming sound. I definitely have to dive deeper into that. Effects used are only the great chorus app by Fred Anton Corvest and Lo-Fly Dirt by MSXII.

What patch cable would you send to a Quantizer and bank for a more musical scale?
Great video. One question: how do you also sync it to a DAW on your Mac to record it in sync with that? Can you slave the iPad to your Mac/DAW via the I connectivity?
Ah…you kind of answered my question towards the end with regard to Ableton (using ableton link)…but what about, say, Logic? Can you sync AUM to logic via midi? And if so, is it tight? I think I tried syncing AUM to my Arturia micro freak and it was a bit sloppy. It kind of worked, but not well enough to use properly. My main aim is to use sequencers like Riffer and drum apps like Playbeat and Drum Computer in sync with Logic and my modular. Is that possible?

patch cable placement in pdf and video are different.
Yes, because in the video I used a stack cable and in the pdf I used the multiplier, so people without stack cables can do the patch as well.
