Look closely, see the white blemish where the backward Nike swoosh ends at the top on the rim of the shoe? Like a small blemish line? That is not unique to his pair. This is a QC issue out of the Nike factory that effected all pairs. Now to check yours.

Can you tell me for part of the boxes that flips out (outer lid) are they supposed to disconnect to the box.

Man that sucks i hit on these but also got pair from kickwho to beat up and my gk pair is identical to retail. Only difference is kw pair didn't have any qc issues like my pair from snkrs. A couple things I’ve also noticed is that the back of the rep isn’t as wide as the retail pair, also the first line above the cactus jack on the tongue is closer to the stitching than the retail pair. It’s more centered on the retail pair. I’ve also noticed this on a couple of other videos I’ve seen comparing retail and rep pairs…seems to be a common thing with the reps.

is there a bigger difference as to how the Cactus labels on the tongue feel? Retail material much stiffer than the soft material on the rep?

Awesome review. The dead giveaway is ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS the tooling and pattern around the midsole. My assumption is that retooling isn’t cheap and that’s why they haven’t gotten the pattern right. But, you’ve done this long enough to know that it’s the sum of inconsistencies rather than one singular thing…
