Loved this review! You know your stuff and the passion clearly shows! The only thing about Hawkgirl's costume is that I LOVED Hawkman's in Black Adam, it was beautiful, just a shame doesn't look like we'll get something so alien and regal for Hawkgirl.. but otherwise I'm pumped for this film! It's the 5th most viewed trailer of all time! Good sign 🙌

David said classic suit would look like funny wrestler so he would be more approachable & relatable for kids, if he literally wore a krypton armor flying around metropolis for his earthly duties he would look like military/authority alienated figure but he just wants to be everyone's best friend & symbol/champion of hope/humanity. Iirc even in the original comics, he wore the trunks outside to mimic funny strongmen in circus for the same reason.

Plus the side plot of She Hulk trying to defend Blonksky while preventing him from transforming into the Abomination.

Yeah the Asgardian shapeshifter was funny especially when she tries to quote Thor from Ragnorok.

Plus the bimbo girlfriend was a lot of fun.

As well as the back and forth between Wong and the amateur novice charlatan magician is kinda very interesting.

Also the whole joke with the demonic goat was kind funny.

The fact that there was a court battle over whether it’s real magic or not is kinda interesting plus the Sopranos reference is kinda funny.

Plus the side plot of Jennifer using She Hulk to get dates to ease her loneliness is tragic especially since the one successful date she had only loved She Hulk and left when she became Jennifer.

The fact that it involves a novice amateur magician who was a former disciple of Wong actually makes this episode work.

Also I think having Wong make an appearance is pretty cool considering that the original comics also had magic as plot points.

I’ll admit having Abomination come back after being gone since 2008 is pretty nice especially since he’s more of a character rather than a plot point for hulk to smash like he was in the 2008 film.

Honestly this was good episode with some decent character development as we got to see Jennifer’s family for the first time.

Well to be fair Jennifer made it clear she didn’t want to be a Hulk to begin with.

Yeah they do throw Bruce under the bus but it’s not as prevalent or constant so he’s still treated with some respect.

Yeah Titania does come back couple episodes later due to a trademark over the name She Hulk and who deserves the name.

I don’t understand why Jennifer was fired because she was exposed as a Hulk but if she hadn’t hulked out Titania would’ve done worse damage to the courthouse. I know it was so she could go over to Superhuman Law but I would’ve preferred a better reason.

Plus it helps that there’s character development for the rest of the series.

Yeah this is not as bad as people have made it out to be and Hulk isn’t treated as a joke he’s actually a genuine teacher and She Hulk is more or less willing to learn from him.

Yeah they only changed the gangsters with the aliens other than that it’s still pretty faithful to the original story.
