It's a wonderfully breezy, action-packed, and highly adaptable system. We've house-ruled it into our favorite skirmish game, running battles in settings ranging from Masters of the Universe to our own retro science fiction milieu.

I like the rules for Full Thrust. There was really only one flaw. The design rules for Beam Weapons didn't make the bigger beams less efficient for weight/cost in the design rules. Three type-1 beams is the same cost as a single type-3 beam. That means that both ships would fire 3 dice at short range. However, at medium and long range the Type-3 beam can fire 2 or 1 dice, but the other ship with Type-1 was out of range. There literally was never a reason to design a ship with medium or small guns. It is not hard to fix that mistake, but it was a mistake if you ask me.

This is amazing, reminds me of a video I uploaded on youtube months ago, the title is: What is Sub Dimension? In this video I have posted pictures, which visually explain my idea, about a sub-dimension between the fractal and third dimension. Observe: I know it already exist an idea about a dimension between the fourth and third, called fractal, but I think this fractal dimension instead exist between sub & fourth dimension, more like: a sub-dimension exist between the third & fractal dimension. However. But what do I mean by Sub-Dimension? Well, to understand that, you have to think one dimension backwards. And that what we see around us, and the terrain (not including solids) we stand on, is two dimensional and not three. But back to the question! If you imagine the terrain in the 2d creature's world (megaman NES), it is not two dimensional, but one. There is also a sub-dimension (flatlander short story) between the second and third dimensions, where the terrain, however, is two dimensional, not one! This means that the terrain is spread over the entire 2D room (volume terrain), and that a creature there can turn around in all directions and see trees, bushes, flowers, grass and lakes and more. To be able to see something and so that not everything overlaps, they can focus their vision in front of, behind and inside objects with x ray vision! They can also move freely through the solid terrain!!! Then imagine this as a three-dimensional terrain, that is, a sub-dimension between the third and fourth dimensions. How cool would it have been, to see all that? Perhaps this is the explanation why spirits and ghosts pass through walls and solid objects. By the way, good video! Thanks for reading! Nice work. I love the nasty little ventral casemate. You'd want a cordon of Infantry, but what a great space for anti personnel measures - flamethrower, grenade - launcher, crude methods to deliver poison gas. I would also expect such a machine to prompt the development of counter measures like magnetic mines, concealed pits and entanglements. Excellent piece of work.

After the short I was immediately impressed with the leg design. Seeing it complete and primed I can only think that if the legs were posable, you'd be able to plunk it down for a stop-motion film and it would be great. I'd rather see a Benadryl box with granny grating and beads than any fake looking cgi walker.
