JETTA ABS FIXED - FOLLOW THE GUIDANCE OF THE TROUBLE CODE
This video shows how I used a trouble code to diagnose and fix a VW Jetta abs fault. It is important to read and understand the trouble code. The word, mechanical in this trouble code shows that the fault is not electrical but mechanical. This means that the abs sensor is ok the fault lies somewhere.

This video is full of what could wrong when you are diagnosing an abs fault. I started with a fault code 5D93- ABS-DSC wheel speed sensor front left. I bought a new sensor and when I fitted it both sensors at the front did not work. Please do not swap sensors as they are sided.
Are you familiar with oil dilution dpf problems
Переглядів 68811 місяців тому
Here I explain steps to take when you have trouble code P1468. This trouble code will affect the regeneration of the dpf. The longer the code stays on the more damage your engine will experience. The main bearings can be damaged. The cylinder walls can have the oil washed down accelerating wear and tier

Fantastic detail in this video. The clip removal was well explained and I appreciate the effort that takes… most people would just say to take them out, struggle off camera and show you the finished product. Thank you.
Fantastic video. Thanks so much for taking the time to make it. For me I'm trying to replace the heater core which requires the removal of the whole glove box so this will help me a lot. Update: I just removed the glove box and there is no way I could have done it without this video - thanks again 😊
Hi thanks for the video, where are you located in the UK? I need to do this job but not confident enough, do you provide paid service?
Hie Jamroz, wasn't it easier to use a picco scope to capture waveform before exchanging sensors maybe? Thank you in advance for your response🤝
i have picoscope i was working in the rain some of the times. setting up pico was not an easy option. i know what you mean but sometimes you have to do with what is handy at that moment. Thanks for your contribution.
You nailed it , thank you so much
Thanks
very helpful 👌
Thank you
Great video James from your mate jay
Thanks 👍
Спасибо.
Thank very much
Hello, thank you for the video, very helpful, just a quick question, is the termistor part of the boost pressure sensor? I have a probkem where my VW goes ubyi linp mode buy when it us warmed up yhe yhe problem dissapears...
send me the code then i can tell you which thermistor it is. a thermistor is a temperature sensor
Thank you so much for the time to create this video
My pleasure!
Thanks for this info . Your English is parfect it's the second langoge for you so you are smart to learn another langoge
Thank you! it's good to hear from you again
Wonderful tutorial. Thank you so much you revealed deep hidden stuff which is taken for granted by many technicians yet it eases diagnosis
You can say that again thank you
My qstn is how you gonna find the problem if l got freeze frame data, does it mean you compare original specs vs actual specs when that vehicles is on idling.
I will explain more on the Zoom platform this afternoon. i short let me say freeze frame is used to mapping out a strategy to tackle the faul.
Wow. Had no idea the car tracked more than the fault number. That's really neat!
Freeze frame is a good teacher
Thank you Jamroz information is very important and valid 👌
Thank you 👍👍
Thank you big brother for teaching us we really apreciate it
Thank you so much

The oil dilution value is not measured in any way, just calculated by the ECU. This means that if someone does an oil change/service on the car and does not reset the oil dilution value then it will continue to rise according to the mileage. When the OD value reaches 9% the ECU will no longer do normal regen while driving and you will have to take the car to a garage to get it regenerated. So when you service any diesel subaru MAKE SURE TO ALWAYS RESET THE OIL DILUTION TO ZERO! Otherwise you will have constant DPF problems. Source: I'm a certified Subaru service technician at a Subaru shop and i regularly get cars into the shop where a third party shop has done a service but not reset oil dilution.
Thank you very much for your contribution. The young man you see changing oil is Subaru technician. He did all the resets unfortunately that part of the recording got corrupted. We're happy to have you on our platform. we value your contribution. Thanks
@@jamrozelectronicssolutions7232 i didn't mean to make it sound like i was criticizing you guys. My comment was directed at people in general who service a Subaru. Licensed techs, third party techs or the owners themselves.
Semtex Warrior please do no think that I see you as a critic, not at all. I appreciate people like you. I like people who can correct me when I make a mistake. You spotted a gap in my video which is a good think. Please stay with us Jamroz values you my bro
Thank you
What was the rot cause of oil dilution and was it resolved?
many unsuccessful regen attempts caused by driving short distances
No idea big bro. Will gladly wait to be sharpened. I do not know the squib.
👍👍👍
What caused the fuel dilution?
multiple dpf regeneration attempts causes diesel to wash past the rings into the sump
get a container lol
i agree with you 💯 👍
👍👍👍
👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you for the video, I don't work on Airbags much let me wait for others to contribute
I appreciate honesty thank you for your support
Huchi urwu what a challenge actually I drive a glk350 and I have the same warning light but I have been lazy to try and fix it 😅, so this video came at the right time.
Part 2 is on the way with a solution
Please what wiring diagram is that ?
The wiring diagram is from a company called Autodata
Hello really appreciate your efforts creating these valuable content Basically my opinion is i would have done the same thing Checking the resistance, continuety, and signal if all these are good ! The sensor is the blame 😊
Thank you for your contribution
Thank you Jamroz, you have a great diagnostic skills and you make everything look easy.
Thank you so much that's encouraging
Unfortunately, Pin 4 signal wire has 0.00 volts. I have continuity between the sensor connector and the ECU harness. If I check the continuity to ground pins 2 and 3 have higher continuity (300 when set to 2000k) to ground than pin 4 (550 when set to 2000k). Does this mean the ECU is bad?
it appears like your signal wire is shorted. disconnect it on both sides. connect your ohmmeter on one side of the wire and connect the other side to a ground. OL or 1 means not short to ground but if you get a reading you have a short
Is that by pass valve also act as turbo boost
No it does not its for emissions only. Thank you
Great information😊 I guess you put your black lead on ur multimeter on the battery or anywhere on chassis ? It shouldn’t matter should it ?
The negative post on the battery is the best but if not accessible the chassis is the way to go. Thank you
Thanks for the time taken to explain the MAP sensor functionality however I've carried out a similar test on my diesel engine and the max value seems to read 1.8v even after revving at W.O.T. What could be the issue?
What is the make and model. what are the issues that led to this test. any trouble codes?
Hello sir I have a land Rover defender 2.4 Deasel please share some information about boost sensor 4 pin informion and turbo actuator pins out .thaanks
i will do my best keep watching the space
I want to know where you guys are driving these cars that you get that much s*** in your intake. I've driven years and never had anything that look like that at all. Are you guys driving through tornado areas
These are the back roads of Europe my friend. Where abouts are you Bruce
Thank you sir for the clear detail on this clip, love your videos ps keep them coming
Thanks, will do!
Hello Jamroz. I hope You can help me. I have check the voltage of Turbo boost sensor. And if the plug is unpluged I, have 5Volt to boost pressure, but if the plug is plugged on I get 0 Volt to boost pressure. Will be the turbo boost sensor damaged?
you have a short to ground change the sensor
Thank you for this information you're a good guy who's helping other mechanics, to be frank information that's almost impossible to find on the internet.. not many people have these basic sensors .. and testing.
Thank you very much for encouraging words
