If anything, vecna is gonna be out here giving characters flashbacks/sending them into a trance.

I believe what theyre doing is he is going to be in vecnas trance like with max. And vecna will take the form of sarah in his mind, but he wont come back.

I think it will be Vecna will be messing with Hopper because of guilt. They will close the story of Sara maybe?

I think it’s all going to be undone with time travel where elle uses her powers to reverse what happened due to the devastation that happens to the town. How can that be explained away? I agree elle need to go to rebalance everything and this might be the way it’s done.
