My uncle also got a indefinite hospital order for nearly claiming a life, despite many warnings to his psychiatrist prior, but they don't give a fuck until they act on it and that was 32 years back. Nothings changed. Then the psychiatrist lies in court saying they've never been violent previously and never posed a risk to the public. The same shrink wouldn't come without a entourage of police officers, as he attacked him before.
