Well the writers did the impossible and made me wish that Nelson and Lisa didn't end up together. I knew it was going to be disappointing but I still wanted to give it a chance and well they ruined this ship for me. I find myself not understanding why Nelson wants to be with Lisa when they made her so ambitious, materialistic and SELFISH. The only reason they were separated for 10 years was ONLY LISA and we're supposed to believe that all this time she was in love with Nelson? and SHE was the one who decided when it was time for them to be together....incredible, they made me want to see Lisa with MILHOUSE!!! Literally, she married another man and only after her marriage failed did she decide that she wants to be with Nelson?! how convenient 🙄 I really hate that this is the only way the writers could have given us this couple....they would have been better off not doing anything! Nelson with Sherri would have been better...

The ending sucked. That whole thing with 'Quag' getting the peg legged neighbor to give Brian the giant badly written screen play to read as a form of revenge just doesn't work. The reason it does not (work) is because it requires the audience to nerd out over something that no one cares about. When she dumps him at the end, instead of blaming Brian for being correct over Quagmire's failure all 'Quag' had to say was " thanks for the vagina whore and by the way I have AIDS", then credits. Of course it would defeat Brian's chance to gloat, but Quag could have gotten back at Brian way better than the way he did. It was a tiresome ending that could have been so much better. The writing up until that point was funny; maybe a bit rehashed, but still funny. It's been on for nearly 30 years though, so they can't all be perfect.

The "he just like me fr fr" rant is my all-time favorite DSP moment. He looks at a guy who was taken advantage of as a child by the mafia, forced to go to prison, then betrayed yet still has a positive outlook on life and works hard. Then thinks "Woah, that's just like me!" Pure ego.
