You ever just let your GBA sit idle for 11 and a half minutes to generate a shiny Pokemon? So what is happening here? Well, I've modified the "CreateWildMon" function in "wild_encounter.c" so that after it generates a Pokemon, it will check if the Pokemon is shiny. This opening has stuck with me in the back of my mind since first seeing it back in 2002 when I was 11 and wanting to try out the Metroid Prime demo at Kmart. I've just now taken the initiative to actually look for it and have only found it here on your account. how did u set that up in ganons
out of bounds glitch, use mirror while jumping off a ledge. you can also do it in hyrule castle at the very beginning with the save/restart method but you have to go out of your way a bit to get there (as its on the other opposite corner of the internal room grid.)

@@blobby2814 if done from the start of the game you unlock a weird glitched overworld state where it still thinks you're in the castle (until you complete it) but because you have all the items unlocked (inc ocarina and several glitched weapon upgrades) you can go anywhere and the thunder and rain effect will follow you around. Its most practical application that I've found so far is that it forces unlocking hurricane spin in 4swords.

@@blobby2814 Now that you mention it, yeah you could probably get into palace of the 4 sword without even touching the 4 swords gamemode. You'd just wanna perform that glitch, start a new game of alttp then beat as normal on that same save slot afterwards.
